Bank Street Beach, Cape Cod

Have been going to Bank Street since we were kids and love it. Great sand and water temperature. Bathroom facilities. Food truck. Good for walks. Close to town.

Large beach with plenty of space to social distance and public bathrooms.

It's a great beach and it's just steps away [Vacation Rental ID 9736]. It's a terrific walking beach with lots of seashells. You can walk east to Wychmere Harbor or west to Allen Harbor.

Short walk from rental house [Vacation Rental ID 23725] and just the right size to not be overcrowded. Has clean bathrooms and boardwalk from parking lot to beach front.

Easy access from the home [Vacation Rental ID 24991] and facilities available for the grandchildren.

We have used that beach for all the years we have been staying on Cape Cod and it is like home to us.

Bank Street is perfect if you want an easy, no hassle beach experience. More waves because it's the ocean side and it was pretty windy on some days. But there's convenient parking (buy a weekly Harwich beach pass), bathrooms, and a long boardwalk which is especially nice if you have young kids.

Soft clean sand, not too crowded, water was warm, not too much seaweed or rocks and shells when you walk in, not a lot of seagulls when we were there. Lifeguards are on the beach until 4:00pm. Bathroom facilities. Small parking lot and you need a beach sticker.

Not too crowded, a family friendly environment with bathrooms, outdoor shower and free books to borrow. Ice cream truck rolls through daily.

Great access ramp down to the beach. The sand is beautiful and the water is perfect for little ones to swim!

Clean, close and all the amenities needed. Ice cream turck pulls up along with Italian ice stand for all to enjoy!

The beach is walkable from the house [Harwich Vacation Rental ID 10665] and has a great boardwalk that leads you very close to the water! If you like ice cream bring a bit of cash for the ice cream truck. There are also public restrooms and lifeguards on duty. It can get crowded so arrive early to set up even if you don’t go back until later!

Beach has free access, is always clean, life guards present and friendly. Love the friendly atmosphere.

Great sand but better still is great for swimming. Lots of families. Good place to walk the beach either to Wychmere Harbor or to Allen's Harbor.

Bank Street Beach has a short boardwalk to the beach and public restrooms. The sand is beautiful, the water is clear, and it is a nice place to sunbathe and swim. Walks on the beach are good in both directions. Don't miss the sunsets over the water. This is a child-friendly beach filled by people of all ages. Bring your beach chair, a good book, and your favorite summer beverage with a snack. People come here and stay for hours for good reasons!

Soft sandy beach with warm water from Nantucket Sound. I spend time there daily. Most beautiful sunsets.

The proximity is hard to resist and the ice cream man is there every day. Great beach for long walks to the jetty near Wychmere Harbor Club and picking up shells along the way.

Very convenient to this rental house and the center of Harwich Port. Good for kids, gentle waves, bathrooms, ice cream truck, etc.

We took a friend to Bank Street beach on a Friday afternoon and were super happy to find perfect waves for our kids, warm water, and plenty of parking. Bank Street beach also has flush toilets. Love this late afternoon sun on the water picture.

I like swimming in the gentle , warm waters of Nantucket Sound.
