Free to Trustees of Reservations members, but the Trustees charge a small fee for non-members to visit the preserve. East Beach is ideal for all beach activities, swimming, fishing, birdwatching, and walking. Complete with picnic tables and bike racks, and unbelievable views of the Atlantic, it is a perfect spot to spend the day.

We purchased an over-beach pass this year and took the family out to East Beach/Cape Poge with the paddle board and some chairs. Had the whole beach to ourselves.

Taking the chappy ferry over to East Beach always makes us feel like we have the entire island to ourselves. We can bring our dog (on the leash) and we spent an entire day napping, snacking and just enjoying this amazing spot. I highly recommend taking the trip over either by car or bike.
