Menauhant Beach, Cape Cod

So picturesque. A beautiful drive to get there and not as crowded as the others.

The water was warm and they were no longer charging admission during our stay..Score!

Close to where we were staying, no permit required, plenty of parking, wide softer sand (not too pebbly/rocky), nice medium waves (peaceful to watch and listen to!)

This beach is small, but far less crowded than the bigger and more popular beaches. It is also quiet if you are looking to hoist an umbrella and peacefully read a book for an afternoon in between dips in the ocean. The sand is fine and soft, with very few rocks. It does cost $20 per visit, but that seems to be the going rate in town. Most importantly, it’s open to non-residents.
