About Highland Light...Highland Light is the oldest lighthouse on the Cape, built in 1797 in an effort to reduce the large number of shipwrecks. It was the first lighthouse in the nation to include a flashing light.

There is an incredible amount of history at this Lighthouse; and it's totally beautiful! 69 steps to the top!
