Easy to get to, beautiful in the early morning and at sunset, waves not to intimidating for my younger daughter who doesn’t like waves crashing on her. Nice sand, not too course. Not too seaweedy. Although that can change year to year at any beach, I would drive down early before parking fees, with chairs and umbrella to set up, return a few hours later on bikes.

We loved how great it is for families, especially with little kids. Best tip is to get there early. You can also go late in the evening to enjoy the sunset.
