Peaceful, family neighborhood, 0.3 mi. walk to private Sheep Pond Beach. Crystal clear, spring-fed pond for swimming, kayaking, fishing, basking on the anchored dock. One mile to bike trail, easy drive to many Cape Cod Bay beaches, golf course, Cape Cod League baseball games , Nickerson State Park, and great restaurants.
Bright, sunny home, built in 2001; accommodates extended family or 2 small families. Roomy kitchen, open floor plan. First floor bedroom with one queen bed opens to full bath. Upstairs has full bath; 2 huge bedrooms sleep 6 in one queen and 4 twins. (crib available) Ceiling fans in bedrooms and dining area. Dining area opens to rear deck that is pleasantly shaded in the afternoon. Enclosed outside shower adjacent to deck, and plenty of back yard space for play. Ever present afternoon breezes through the house.

Sheep Pond is stocked for fishermen. Children need no license to fish. Children who are safe swimmers love diving from the floating dock; non-swimmers can wade in the shallows and build castles in the sandy beach.
Nearby bike trail has parking lot and hot dog cart, adjacent bike rental shop, as well as restaurant, small grocery store with lunch-to-go options for riders. After riding, come home, jump in the pond (or outdoor shower) to cool off. At end of day retire to the shaded deck for cocktails, bird watching, games in the back yard, or a quick dip in the pond.
"Just returned home after spending a week in this lovely house. It's on the top of my list of all the rentals we've used at the Cape. House was clean and well maintained. All the comforts of home. Nice quiet neighborhood and great area to take leisurely strolls. Also had access to the very nice beach on Sheep Pond. Carletons provided a lot of information about the home and the area and were quick to reply to our emails. I would definitely recommend this rental to a friend and would rent again in a heartbeat!
