    Couldn't be bettter

The week we spent at Hydrangea worked perfectly for everyone from 16 months to 75 years old. There is room for everyone to spread out as well as a lovely family room complete with children's books and toys. The kitchen is spectacular - it has everything you could ever need. The back yard provided hours of fun and the vegetable and herb garden added unexpected deliciousness. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The house is in a quiet but convenient location. It was hard to leave.

A Wonderful place to stay on the Cape!

Our family has been enjoying everything Cape Cod has to offer for many years and staying at this property only enhanced that experiance. The home is lovely and has everything you could hope for in a vacation property! From comfortable beds to a large screen TV this place is exceptional! The garden vegetables are a nice touch, too. If you are lucky enough to get a reservation here you won't be disappointed.

    Cape Escape

The house was in close proximity to the bike path and the herb and vegetable garden was an extra treat that you don't find with many house rentals. Master suite was very spacious and had lots of natural light. We enjoyed our time on the Cape, so many things to do with the family. Vacationing at the Cape never gets old.

    Great Family Vacation Rental

2021 marked our second time renting this property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This home is well stocked and makes packing for vacation so simple. This property had some recent renovations and the improvements were very nice. We always enjoy scoping out the garden full of fresh herbs and veggies and love that we are allowed to have a taste too!

The property owners are always very attentive and communicative. Can't wait to return in 2022.

    Wonderful family rental!

This lovely landscaped Brewster home is perfect for a large family (grandparents, parents, children). Very comfortable with ample room to gather and/or to spread out. Just blocks to the Cape Cod Rail Trail and convenient to the lovely villages of the lower Cape - Brewster, Orleans, Chatham, etc. We loved the National Seashore, the Cape Cod Natural History Museum (right in Brewster) and ate lobster at the wonderful, outdoor Sesuit Harbor Cafe while watching the boats come and go. Don’t miss the Brewster Scoop’s ice cream after your lobster. The house has everything you will need including a well appointed kitchen and herb garden. The owners, Roger and Susan, were a pleasure to work with and make you feel like old friends. show more show less

    Perfect in every way

This was our second time renting this wonderful house in Brewster for our family vacation. And again, we loved staying here. The house is beautiful and clean, and perfectly set up for a large family or smaller families sharing. Plenty of space to spread out, with all the comforts of home. Close to the neighborhood pond, which we all enjoyed for swimming & sunning, and a short drive to numerous beaches and restaurants. The yard of this house is beautifully landscaped, and well-equipped for an outdoor cookout or reading in the sun. The neighborhood is quiet, and nice to walk around. We were very happy with our stay in this home, and hope to be back again in the future! show more show less

    Vacation Rental Review

We loved our stay at this Brewster rental and would highly recommend this property! By far one of the cleanest and nicest vacation rentals we have stayed at so far. The owners were lovely to work with, answering any questions I had very promptly.

Very spacious house for larger families or several couples vacationing together. The house is fully equipped with anything needed for beach vacation - beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, bath towels, and linens were all provided! Great, flat backyard with nice grill, plenty of tables and chairs, and even a sandbox of kids!

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. The neighborhood is great for walks or riding bikes. Short walk to pond which has a small beach- great for a quick swim with little kids or for going kayaking. We purchased a beach pass ($50) for the week for Crosby Beach Landing and spent most of our time there. During low tide there are small tide pools and lots of hermit crabs- perfect beach for small children.

    Loved our week

We loved our week in June of 2016! Great house, plenty of room, nice quiet neighborhood, convenient location, and Susan, the owner, was wonderful to work with.

Brewster was a great home base! We were able to see all of the Cape and took a day trip to Martha's Vineyard during the week. Every day was a new adventure as we visited each quaint, little town. Some of my favorites were lunch at Cap't Cass in Rock Harbor (great lobster rolls), the lighthouse in Chatham (you can walk to it), the glass museum and grist mill in Sandwich, the Cape Cod potato chip factory and Kennedy compound and memorial in Hyannis, and all of the DELICIOUS seafood we ate all week.Too many favorites to list them all. If I am lucky enough go back, I would love to stay here again! show more show less

    Great Stay at the Cape

This is our second time staying at this beautiful property. The house is charming and very well-maintained. The location couldn't be better - half a mile from the rail trail, and we can get anywhere on the Cape in under an hour. Everything about our stay was top-notch - HIGHLY recommended!

    Wonderful vacation home!

We enjoyed a terrific vacation at this rental property. From the first inquiry, Susan was friendly, helpful and super flexible with our large family needs. The house was beautiful. Well furnished with all the amenities we needed and plenty of space for our large family. It was also very nicely decorated.

We loved the short walk to the local pond to swim and fish. We also only had to drive a few minutes to some of the best beaches we have experienced on the Cape. On reflection, we should have gotten the week long beach pass from the town as we were there every day, but we picked up a couple of day passes which were needed because we saw a bunch of vehicles without passes get tickets. The town beaches are also free after 3pm. In short the beaches were fantastic, and if you like to relax by the ocean, this is a great town!! Overall this was a fabulous vacation and the rental property was perfect. You won't be disappointed if you come here. We weren't!! show more show less

We have owned and rented our lovely Cape house since 2004. Susan grew up in Massachusetts and has fond memories of family vacations on Cape Cod. We join other extended family members who own houses here and four who work with WeNeedaVacation. We're happy to rent the house in the high season and enjoy it ourselves other times of the year.

What is special about this property?
As a former realtor, Susan always wanted a traditional ''cape cod'' style house and this fit perfectly. The house functions well for family groups with bedrooms up and down and three full bathrooms. We love the charm of the wall paper and window treatments, all quite traditional. We have tried hard to stock the house with ample kitchen equipment, bed linens, bath linens, table linens, beach towels and chairs. It is our home, too, so we always want to have enough for everyone. The Highlands is a great residential neighborhood with no through traffic and a ladder-type grid of streets, wonderful for morning walks or bike rides. Many of our tenants rent bikes and send their kids off around the neighborhood to explore. Seymour Pond is a private neighborhood swimming and boating (no motors) lake, a 5-10 minute walk away, with a great little sand beach and dock.

What is special about your town?
We love Brewster! It is so picturesque and quaint, boasting dozens of outstanding art galleries, unique shops, terrific restaurants, a museum, and 8 bay beaches. We often go to a different beach each day. At low tide, you can walk a long, long ways out on the ocean floor, an experience you won't soon forget. It is magical. And the bike trail! Easily accessed from our house, you can walk or bike for miles. So much fun.
