Five star review for this wonderful house located a short walk to town and to the beach. Our family has been staying here for about 8 years now and it has been enjoyed by all. The place is very clean and quiet and the air conditioning works well in each of the bedrooms for when the heat gets turned up. We will look forward to returning in the future. The owners are also super people and good to deal with.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this Chatham cottage. Ideally located in walking distance to Light House Beach and Andrew Harding's Beach as well as the quaint Main Street in Chatham with its fine restaurants and specialty shops. We especially loved relaxing after a day at the beach on the front porch. The breeze was always magnificent, as were the glorious sunsets and friendly passersby. This is a very special property that is thoroughly comfortable and enjoyable. We highly recommend!

Location was perfect, short walk to town and beach. Enjoyed the quaint and cozy neighborhood, and the house itself was fabulous. Great front yard for kids to play, refreshing outdoor shower and very comfortable all around.

A sparkling clean and cozy house in the best spot in town! I have to admit I could sit on the deck all day. After a visit to the beach, the outdoor shower is a dream. Lots of great restaurants and shops are right around the corner and it is an easy walk to Lighthouse Beach. The large front yard is a rare treat in the Old Village and the house itself has everything you might need. We have been coming here for years and it is always a delight!

This is a wonderful home to rent for several couples or a small family. The "cottage" is a lovely place to relax and do as much or as little as you please. It is within walking distance of both Lighthouse Beach and town, if you don't want to get in your car much during your vacation. All the amenities of home, plus a great outdoor shower! The owners are delightful and do everything they can to insure their renters have a positive Cape experience.

My wife, 2 adult children, and I had a great week in Chatham- this cottage is perfectly located close to Lighthouse Beach and downtown. The house is located in Old Village section of Chatham so all of the neighbors take great pride in their properties. The cottage is actually a home- it is clean, comfortable with all of the amenities that you would need. It is a 3 bedroom with the master bedroom with bath on the first floor and the two other bedrooms on the second floor. The upstairs bedrooms both have separate entrances to the back upper deck (ocean view) such that our adult children 22 and 26 respectively could come and go easily- they loved that! We will be renting again and again from owners Nancy and Bill who are incredibly accommodating. Beautiful home, great location. and the owners were a pleasure to deal with.

We were very happy with our stay. The house has a flexible layout - great for our family. The location is perfect - walk to the local beach (two blocks). The beach doesn't have many visitors (other than the seals) because there is very limited parking. Good for visitors on foot! The walk to town is easy, too. Our kids enjoyed playing in both the front and back yards. We ate dinner several nights on the back deck, which is in the shade in the afternoon. Nicely equipped home. With a 5 minute walk bringing you to the Lighthouse or Andrew Harding's Beach in one direction and into downtown Chatham in the other, this lovely Cape is the perfect place to put your car keys away for the week. We loved the comfortable feel and all the outdoor living space (two decks, large front yard) and the outdoor shower! It's also extremely well outfitted- a good amount of outdoor furniture, gas grill, small appliances (blender, etc). The neighborhood has a friendly feel, and three roomy bedrooms + 2 1/2 baths suited our family perfectly. Right around the corner is an ocean "pond"-- Mill Pond -- which is so much fun to explore with kids or to just go enjoy the sunset. We loved going to the Chatham Cafe ( close walk) for lattes and bagels in the morning and getting an ice cream at Cape-abilities on our walk back from the beach. The owners are locals and provided restaurant menus, a local guide, etc., which was so helpful. We wish we could stay the whole summer! show more show less

Beautiful, quaint, historic, and comfortable cottage in a wonderful location. Walking distance to beaches and downtown Chatham. Cottage has all the amenities one would need, and our stay was fabulous. The homeowners were a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend this property and location. Just make sure you reserve it around the week we pick!
