    I just returned home from a one week stay at this home. On every count it was perfect. It was a group of 12 retired women who get together each year for a reunion, our 10th year. My only concern is that we will not be able to top this house on our future vacations.

    The house and grounds were immaculate. The location was ideal. We walked to the beach and to restaurants. There was so much to do we could not get to everything on our list. We have really come to expect comfort and service, this rental far exceeded our expectations. I recommend this house without reservations, it is a sure bet show more show less

    The house is better than the pictures. The house, pool, and sauna were wonderful. Love the local area and the beach, which is in walking distance. Near neat towns to explore and superb restaurants

    Our family of 8 adults and 5 children just enjoyed a perfect vacation from the welcoming flowers from the owner to the toasty heated pool & spa; easy walk to the beach, biking, kayaking, eateries, and the ice cream shop. The home was actually more charming than the pictures on line. It was unanimous that we would rent this home again.

    Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

    I have always been partial to the NJ shore, having grown up in Northern NJ. But, I fell in love with Cape Cod while staying at this gorgeous home. Stress that had built up from too much work and not enough play, melted away during a long, girls's weekend. Simply put, the house is stunning and everything you'd want a beach house to be. It's tastefully decorated and in pristine condition, with lots of natural light; beautiful hardwood floors; an eat-in kitchen with stainless-steel appliances; two sets of top-of-the-line washer/dryers; good-sized, comfortable bedrooms; and plenty of bathrooms. It's obvious that a lot of time and effort was put into this house, and we reaped the benefits! To top it off, it's located in a peaceful setting, that is a short walk to the beach and the park, making the house the perfect place to vacation. It would be ideal for a large family - or even two families. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend staying here. The owner, Richard Santos, could not have been nicer or more welcoming.

    The Kendrick Homestead is a beautiful vacation venue. As the owner of the property though, it is so much more. My wife's mother was born and grew up on the property; my wife vacationed here growing up; our honeymoon was a week at 17 Summer st. For many years our family including seven children experienced the joy and peace of a time with their grand parents. After my wife and her immediate family passed I decided that i was going to continue the environment where families could experience those joyful peaceful feelings that I felt. I find it such a joy to hear "I'm so happy to be here" I'm thrilled to greet and provide a tutorial on the fire pit, the spa, and the pool, I'm also saddened to feel them have to leave
