We had a delightful week at Karen's cottage. It was, as advertised, cozy and super close to the beach, which was crucial for us.
The house was well-equipped with pretty much anything one would need.. we grilled a few nights and dined out a few. We were also very lucky with amazing weather (thank you, Karen..hahaha).
The house is very well-located for day trips to pretty much anywhere on the Cape.. but it was always nice to get back to the house after a long day. Walking to the beach to see the sunsets was a highlight.
The street is very quiet, little to no traffic. As we live in a city, this was very important and much-appreciated.
Of course, we were here post-"season", hence less traffic, less people in general, and numerous restaurants were closed, but there were still many options.
All in all, a near-perfect stay. Would come back!!

We stayed at this cozy cottage for 2 weeks in September and had a lovely time despite some rainy weather. Two friends joined us for part of the time, and there was plenty of room for all; could've accommodated more.
The street is very quiet, hardly any traffic. We loved being able to walk to 2 small beaches--perfect for photographing sunsets--and it was an easy drive to some of our favorite larger beaches, like Nauset and Linnell Landing.
Karen recommended several good restaurants nearby that we enjoyed. Both she and John were very responsive to questions. They even volunteered to troubleshoot the DVD player when we klutzes were having trouble with it, and to remove the air conditioners when the weather got chillier.
We had a great time and were sorry to see our vacation end...till next year! Thank you, Karen and John.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It has everything a family could need including a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, a lovely deck, and a backyard with plenty of room for kids to run around and play.The beach is just a short walk down the road. You do need to go down a set of stairs to reach the beach but there is another beach just a little ways up the road that you can walk right onto if the stairs are an issue. There are many different public beaches that are only a few minutes drive from the cottage and we had a lot of fun exploring them.

We stayed at this wonderful cottage for a week. Karen was extremely responsive to all my questions and recommended some activities for us to do. We followed her advice for the Hyannis Whale Watch and it was incredible. The cottage, from the moment we walked in, was so cozy and welcoming. Anything and everything we needed was provided by the thoughtful home owners. It was less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, an easy walk for seniors like us. Karen and John made such good use of every space in the house—it could accommodate up to 8 people with the trundle bed and pull-out sofa. There are tons of restaurants and shops nearby. The AC units kept us comfortable on hot August days. The yard was so private and peaceful. We spent every morning on the back deck having our coffee and planning the day and in the evening relaxing after a full day on the Cape. The beds were extremely comfortable. The place was impeccably clean. Anyone searching for a vacation rental would be lucky to find this place. I only wish we could have stayed all summer.

We are regular summer renters at this house. It is the go-to place for our "Sisters Summer Vacation"! When we walked in last Saturday, we felt like we had arrived home. As usual, the house was clean and waiting for our arrival! The beach is less than a 5 minute walk from the house! The deck is our favorite spot. It's a great spot to read, eat, and relax. There are many great restaurants, and ice cream shops, just a short distance from the house. You can visit those without having to endure the Cape traffic.
As always, Karen and John are amazing hosts! They provide everything and anything you might need for your stay. They are only a text or email away if you have a question. We will be returning next summer!

I apologize for the late review but time just flies by. We stayed here the beginning of the summer and we had an amazing time. The cottage is in a great location. A short drive to everything. The beach is on the smaller side, but we loved it. We rather a smaller, less crowded beach. The walk to it was quick. So close that if we chose to not bring lunches, it was no hassle to just walk back to the cottage. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. A washer and dryer are a bonus when you go with kids. The yard is a great size. The deck was great and outside shower was the best. I don't think my kids showered indoors once. The beds were comfortable. The owners were always accessible and attentive. I would highly recommend this cottage and I hope to have the opportunity to rent again in the future.

This cottage was perfect for our family. It was a very short walk to the beach so we could come and go as we pleased, and had everything my family needed.

Impeccably clean and the owner was so easy to work with and patient with all of my questions. Sheets and towels (both beach and shower) were provided and that was so helpful and made it less for us to pack! Large back yard and deck- coffee every morning there with the smell of the ocean on the breeze.

Easily the best vacation I have had in years with my family.

Stayed here for a week in mid to late June and it was perfect! The house was a great size with the perfect size yard for the various yard games we brought.

It was a great location to a smaller less populated beach which was great to get away from the normal pack on Cape Cod beaches. Easily walkable distance and the street had very little traffic to none at all.

The owners were great to work with and very friendly and helpful with questions. For what you get with this quaint Cape Cod cottage, it is a great price. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Literally a 5 minute walk to the beach! A short bike ride away from great restaurants! Travel to downtown Dennis, Chatham, Harwich, and Hyannis was a breeze!

Karen was fantastic to work with. She was very caring and always super responsive to my several pre-booking & post-booking emails. Karen also gave us great recommendations on what to do, where to eat, and where to go while we were there...it was our first visit to the cape and, with her recommendations, we really feel like we made the most out of our visit.

The cottage is a gem - perfect for what we needed, comfortable, cozy, and gives off a great beach getaway vibe. We loved our stay and hope to be back again soon someday.

We have been renting in Dennisport since I was a small child. 2020 was the first year we missed and we were all upset. 2021 seemed like a long shot as well but some how I happened upon this house. It did not disappoint.

From the beginning of the booking process with Karen, (who was very attentive and answered all of my questions almost immediately), to the slight snag at check in, for which Karen and John could not have been more apologetic (although not their fault), to the overall state of the cottage and location, this is by far the best we've rented in Dennisport. Much bigger than I anticipated, clean, all the amenities you'd need and a very short walk to the beach. Nice backyard, back deck and the washer/dryer was a nice bonus!

There is literally everything you'd think you'd need already at the house! We had such a fantastic week and can't wait to return next year!

Cute little house in the perfect location with about a 5 minute walk to the beach! Owners were amazing to work with! We originally had a different house booked who cancelled on us about a week and a half before our trip. I found this house and contacted the owners right away and I heard back from Karen within 24 hours. She continued to respond quickly and answered all of my questions and we had this house booked a week before we were leaving for Cape Cod!! At the end of it all we were glad the other house cancelled. We loved this house, the location, and working with the owners.

The house had beach chairs and umbrellas that we took to the beach daily, AC units in each bedroom window and a larger unit in the kitchen/living area that cooled down the whole house, towels and beach towels.

Dennisport is where we usually stay when we go to the Cape, so this house was near everything we knew and loved. Definitely recommend this house for your stay in the Cape and we'll look for it the next time we go back! (:

We spent a Sisters Week at this lovely Cape home last summer. A great location ~ convenient to the beach, restaurants, ice cream shops, and shopping. Karen and John were great to work with as we arranged our vacation, and throughout our stay. They were responsive to questions and our needs. We absolutely loved the deck and the backyard. It afforded us privacy and a great place to enjoy our morning tea. They provide the amenities needed for our stay. The washer and dryer are an added bonus to this rental. We loved it so much we are headed back this summer for another week!

The owners were great to work with, very accommodating to our needs. They answered our email guestions in a very timely manner. This location can not be beat, close to everything including a 5 minute walk to Hagis Beach. The cottage is roomy, we appreciated the washer/ dryer and ac units.

We stayed at this cottage for four days at the end of August with three little kids. The cottage is exactly as shown in the pictures, spotless, and fully stocked with towels, A/C and a washer and dryer. The backyard patio is lovely - we ate almost every meal there. The location is amazing - steps from a small beach, a bit of a walk to some larger beaches, and an easy drive to everywhere on the Cape (including 5 min to Dunkin Donuts for morning coffee). The owners were very responsive and easy to deal with. We'd definitely stay here again if we ever make it back to the Cape :)

This was a perfect house for our family vacation. It was spotless and had plenty of room. We enjoyed time on the deck at night unwinding. It was a very short walk to the beach and perfectly located to all the local attractions.

We had a wonderful experience here. It was myself and two children (ages 5 and 7 years). The owners were very responsive. The The house was exactly as expected from the description, and we enjoyed the private yard as well as the easy walk to the beach. The wi-fi was fast, the grill worked great, the outdoor shower was lovely, and we were happy to find that the house even had a first-aid kit with bandaids when my son cut his arm. We would love to rent here again.

This was a perfect spot! It was cozy, but definitely plenty of space for five of us. A two-minute walk to the beach made it ideal, and it is a nice quiet street so I felt good about having the kids walk there. Nice beds, pillows, and AC made for a very comfortable stay! I would recommend or return in a heartbeat!

We had another great week in this beautiful getaway. Perfect house in a great location. The beach and many restaurants are within walking distance. Looking forward to next year!

This was our first time at this property. We are long time lovers (over 30 years) of the Cape. We have had many wonderful vacations on the Cape over the years with our family. My parents were residents since 1982. This was a great find for us. We love the beach and even though a little windy that weekend, we loved that it was just a short walk down the street. This cottage is comfortable and has every convenience. Would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great vacation or just a weekend away. Thank you!

What a lucky find for our first stay on the Cape! We were visiting from the UK with two young children (5 and 3) and this cottage was perfect. Fully equipped with every detail thought about - the beach umbrella came in handy, and it was great to have A/C and wifi! Only 5 min walk to a lovely beach which was friendly, quiet and on the same stretch of sand and just as nice as some of the private ones. Karen was really helpful - clear instructions, hassle free booking, and straightforward check-in/out. Cottage was in great condition and exceeded all our expectations from the photos.

The owners continue to upgrade this home as though it needs it, but really, it doesn't. We have just completed our 5th annual vacation in a row here, and couldn't be more pleased . Even the neighbors know us now. A particular joy is an annual photo taken in two of the back yard Adirondack chairs....one occupied by our daughter, and the other by our granddaughter, since she was a year old. That's just one of the memories we make each year. May we be able to continue ....planning on the 2017 trip at this writing .

This is the 4th summer we have stayed in the cottage, and every year we are impressed. The cottage is extremely clean and perfect for a family (we have two small kids). It truly is a short walk to the beach as well.

House was perfect!! Great location on a quiet street! Walk to the beach at the end of the street or just a short drive to other beaches. Close to all the recreational spots, shopping and restaurants. Will definitely return!

This cottage was perfect for our family. The kids (aged 3 and 5) loved the short walk to the beach and fenced in backyard. The house had everything with plenty of room for everyone. We loved the location which was close to everything. The street was nice and quiet. Owners were great to work with and gave us plenty of ideas for things to do. Looking forward to returning!!

This place was immaculate. We loved the location and the quick walk to the beach. At night we could hear the ocean as we sat on the deck. We have already reserved for next year, and this will become our annual go-to vacation.

For the second summer in a row, we rent this perfectly kept Cape Cod cottage. The location is great, and the cottage is perfect for a family with young children. Our kids (4 and 2 1/2) were able to share a bedroom and play in the yard while we were able to sit on the deck and relax.

I recommend the cottage to any family.

The cottage was immaculate and exactly as advertised. All you need to do is bring your clothes, beachwear, and food. Everything else is supplied! It is conveniently located within walking distance to the beach and a great breakfast/lunch/dinner place. Additionally it is conveniently located to Rt 28, which made it very easy to head up to Hyannis or down to Ptown.

I highly recommend this rental and plan to rent again.

We stayed the week of July 27-Aug 3. The owners are wonderful people to deal with! The cottage is the perfect size, very open and very clean. We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children, and the space was perfect. The outdoor shower and the laundry were a great bonus to have. The home was in a great location. It was only a 3 minute walk to Haigis Beach. We look forward to going back next year. We enjoyed every minute of it.

This cottage is very clean and cozy with lots of amenities. The homeowners have thought of just about everything you may need for a peaceful getaway. The large deck in back has plenty of space for dining, entertaining, or just relaxing. The gas grill, outside shower, laundry facility and the beach umbrella were very clean and convenient too. The cottage is close to the beach, yet far enough away so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the quiet, friendly neighborhood. Awesome area for walking or biking too. We will be returning next year, and hopefully every year after that!

The home is lovely and has every amenity that one could desire while on vacation – especially the laundry facilities. It is well-kept, private and comfortable, and the owners are very good to deal with – very hospitable and accommodating. It is just the right location for us…waking distance to the beach, nice flat areas for casual dining, strolling, or biking. Just close enough to trade by a short drive, yet far enough away for those who want to be out of the commercial fray. Don’t pass it up. We long to go back!

We just returned back to reality after a wonderful week in this cottage. Everything in the listing was true to form, very clean, quiet street, and very close to a great beach. Our 9 and 11 year olds rode their bikes to the beach frequently, and we'd walk with the beach gear. Enclosed outdoor shower and nice big private deck were great too, as well as wifi and cable tv's. We're planning to go back next summer! Thank you!

Our party of 3 adults had the pleasure of staying over the 4th of July. First let me say, this is the cleanest place I have ever been in! Sometimes you just don't know what you 'll find booking online, but we had a wonderful week. We had every amenity we could think of, including Wi-fi and an outdoor shower that was fabulous. The beach is about a 5 minute walk and very accessible. The cottage had a beautiful quiet fenced in back yard with plenty of outdoor seating and a gas grill. This is a quaint and cozy cottage. Beautifully done and clean as a whistle inside and out. Great deck in the back for relaxing. Plenty of room for everyone and Soooooooo close to the beach. The homeowner was very nice and made the rental very easy and hassle free.
Can't wait to go back.

My family rented this cottage August 2011 and we are returning again this year. Very comfortable and family-friendly. We loved the backyard deck and the short walk to the beautiful beach. Very clean and felt like home. Peaceful and serene; a relaxing getaway for all!

We rented this lovely cottage last summer and thoroughly enjoyed the cleanliness, comfort and all the amenities. The owner provided everything you could possibly need and it was all in mint condition. The cottage is about a 5 minute or less walk to the beach and they even provided the beach umbrella. We also enjoyed the very private deck every evening and had plenty of room for entertaining both inside and outside.

We also rented the cottage again in the fall and had the same wonderful experience. We are hoping to rent the cottage again this year . We would strongly recommend the cottage to anyone interested in a cozy, warm inviting cottage within walking distance to the beach.
