After a glorious day on a private beach (just west of Mayflower Beach) finding sand dollars, hermit crab races, and laughing with family, return to a refreshing air-conditioned house.

Enter into a mudroom & drop all your beach gear, toss your suit into the laundry in the 1/2 bath and exit out the back door for a refreshing outdoor shower. Walk into the kitchen/dining/family room to grab a quick snack and check the score of the Red Sox game. Head upstairs to one of 3 bedrooms and get ready to walk to Chapin's Family Restaurant or Gina's by the Sea for a delicious dinner.

Enjoy family game night in the evening around the dining room table or watch your favorite movie in the living room.

    Family Vacation

    Wonderful location! Great beach - white sands - low tide. Super fun for children to play. Home is walking distance to beach. Immaculate home. Every amenity including linens. Nice outside area also. Walk to restaurants. Owners very responsive to all questions. Beautiful place to spend a summer vacation!

    Great spot!

    This house is terrific - the renovation is tasteful and simple and the house was perfectly clean up on our arrival. The owner's communication and professionalism is excellent. Short walk to the beach on quiet, private street, and just enough outside yard space for children and outside dining. We will try to return again next summer!

    Wonderful beach house!

    Perfect house for a beach vacation. Very short walk to one of the best beaches! Clean, soft sand. Outdoor shower used everyday. Nicely equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and big bathroom. Great living space, very clean, and spacious for our family of four. We are looking forward to next year! The owners are responsive and take great care of their home.

    Wonderful family vacation

    We enjoyed our stay at this property very much! The location was perfect - a very short walk to our favorite beach. The house was very clean and everything was as described. Nicely updated and comfortable. We would definitely return and recommend this rental house to friends and family.

    Hi Everyone,
    Just like your family, we fell in love with Mayflower Beach. We spent 10 years renting the same little cottage on Horsefoot Path.

    We then decided to look for a home as close to the beach we loved as possible. The stars aligned in August of 2011 when we and our two sons first walked into 3 Schofield Road—a house on a private beach!!

    With the original house having some structural issues, we knew we'd have a major renovation or rebuild on our hands in several years.

    In 2019, we tore down the old house to build a new one. We believe our new home retains the feeling of our ''Old Cape'' neighborhood and gives us a bit more room, modern comforts, and a well built home to last for generations.

    Welcome to 3 Schofield

    We hope you will love our home as we do.

    We're 200 steps from a private bay side beach. Finding itself between two of the best bayside beaches on Cape Cod, Mayflower & Chapin, this is a premier Cape location.

    With a brand new open, sunny, and comfortable home with ocean views from all three bedrooms....what's not to love?

    We chose Dennis as our vacation/retirement home not only for the perfection of the bay side beaches, but for the restaurants, the artistic venues, and the charm of 6A.
