Family-friendly, this fantastic vacation rental awaits you within walking distance of South Village Beach in West Dennis with views of Swan River and the beach. Dogs allowed at this rental.. Please note the washer/dryer is a combination unit. No beach stickers are needed because you can walk, 2/10 mile, to a private beach or the public South Village Beach. The beach is only moments down a private dirt road and is fantastic for small children because, at low tide, there are sandbars to explore. This is the perfect Cape Cod vacation house to relax in and enjoy with family and friends. Walk home for lunch and naps. The entire inside of the house is newly painted, new floors and new windows. New bedspreads, many new mattresses, and new pillows throughout.

The ranch house has 3 bedrooms, 1 with one queen and one with 2 brand new full mattress sets and one with 1 full bed, 1 full bath with bathtub/shower, an outside shower, 32 inch HD TV, DVD, and wireless internet, A/C units in the bedrooms, washer/dryer, dishwasher and eat in kitchen and deck. Sip your morning coffee while reading the newspaper or book, and bask in the glorious sounds of nature on your deck.

Rent a kayak or paddle boat at Swan River and enjoy the peaceful river. The Swan River (or Swan Pond River) empties into Vineyard Sound. It is a very winding, twisting tidal river that begins at, you guessed it, Swan Pond! There is a great kayak rental place on the river right on Route 28. They rent electric paddle boats and canoes as well.

The house is a short drive to the Cape Cod bike trails. Walk to Fish Market for the fresh catch of the day for dinner and grill it on the outside gas grill. Sheets and towels are not included. Non-smoking inside or outside. Sleeps 8, pets are considered.

    Relaxing vacation

    We had a wonderful week at your lovely home. Everything exactly as described - very clean and comfortable! We especially enjoyed reading on the great deck and watching the bunnies run around the yard!

    Checked out some of the local restaurants and had some great dinners and even did takeout lobster from the Swan River Seafood Market - which was excellent. Nice gas grill but we were lazy so we ate out - it was a lot of fun!

    Thank you so much for the review. We love the location and the fact that we do not need to worry about buying a beach pass and trying to secure parking at the beach. My Dad had the house built in this location since he had 6 children and he did not want to have to drive to the beach or purchase lunch out. We appreciate you taking care of ht house and leaving it in such great condition!

    This house is in a trust. We as a family have enjoyed many summers vacationing and walking to the beach with my 5 siblings. Limited weeks are available because the house is manly used by family on the peal Summer months

    What is special about this property?
    Easy short walk to beach with water view. Recent upgrades include new flooring, windows, and doors. Dogs are welcomed.

    What is special about your town?
    The warm water beaches of Nantucket Sound are special.
