Ocean front cottage on Nantucket Sound with private beach

We have rented this house from Karin and Paul for three years now. This house has just enough space for our family of four. There is a bedroom with two twin sized beds and another with a queen size bed. The kitchen has been updated with new countertops and cabinets. The front sunroom is comfortable for a family movie night. There is one air conditioner in the house. If you shut the door between the sunroom and the rest of the house the air conditioner does a pretty good job at cooling off the rest of the house.
My favorite thing about the house is the outdoor shower. We do not even use the inside shower all week. The second is proximity to the beach. You can see the beach from the deck. It takes 1-2 minutes to get to your private beach access. There are some stairs to get down to the beach. The beach is perfect for relaxing, swimming and playing in the sand.
The price of the rental is comparable to hotels and some rentals on the Cape. We prefer to rent to have more space and not have to go out for every meal. There is a Stop and Shop close enough to pick up groceries when needed.
The overall vibe is very relaxed and has become a family summer tradition.

The location, private beach, sitting by the pond, and enclosed sun room are some of the amenities that made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. The neighboring houses are close but others did not interfere with our privacy.
My sister's favorite was sitting on the sun porch overlooking the pond. My favorite was swimming at the private beach...wonderful!

We really enjoyed our vacation on the Cape. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The private beach was easily accessible and the beach chairs were a nice touch. The cottage matched the description - there were no surprises. We would definitely recommend renting it.

This sweet cottage couldn't be in a better location! It is truly just steps away from a small private beach…close enough to walk to barefoot with my morning coffee in hand.
The house was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed for a two-week stay. It was simply perfect for a wonderful, relaxing vacation.
PS The homeowners were attentive to our needs and answered questions promptly.

Karin and Paul, It was our first time renting at this beautiful spot and we were very impressed with your vacation home. It was not only very clean, but very comfortable. The 3 season porch was awesome, we spent a lot of time there. It is exactly what you see in the pictures and even more. A very quiet location, extremely close to beach and the view of the pond is lovely. It was so much fun watching the Osprey nest. We wanted a place to just relax, go on some walks/ bike rides and this place was perfect. It is centrally located so if you wanted more activity than we did you could find it easily. We did cook most of our meals because of the great grill, kitchen and views! If you go here check out Woolfie"s for their great iced coffee, donuts and breakfast sandwiches! I hardly want to write this review because I don't want to lose "our" secret, perfect vacation home! Karin and Paul have created such a peaceful, relaxing home for us to get away.

The cottage is right across from a private beach right on the ocean, just a short walk to the Lighthouse Inn or the Swan River. We just returned from our 7th year at the cottage and already looking forward to next year! We love spending time on the deck and in the 3-season sunroom. The kitchen is small but equipped with all the basics you need for a week away from home. We love watching and listening to the beautiful osprey fly out over Uncle Stephen's Pond and return to their nest right behind the cottage.

This location is perfect to visit any part of the Cape! We love Whale Watches out of Provincetown and Duck Boat rides in Hyannis! Lots of things to do nearby and plenty of nice restaurants nearby. We lucked out finding this little treasure 7 years ago and hope to continue visiting this little slice of heaven for years to come!

We experienced this perfect charming cottage during the spring, summer and fall. Each time left us with memories of morning coffee on the private beach, longer walks along the beautiful public beach or wine and cheese sunsets on the jetty.. It was most amazing to follow the progress of the new osprey family nearby right from the cottage deck! We'll be back soon!

We had a lovely time at Uncle Stephen's village. Such a treasure! Hope to see you next year.

We had a wonderful vacation at your lovely cottage. It was our first time renting and we were very pleased. Growing up renting with my parents, we didn't always get a well equipped, clean & cozy cottage. As a renter, I appreciated & enjoyed how much care & thought you put in your home. Oh & we loved sitting on the back deck watching the sunset, seeing the ocean & osprey. Just perfect. We would like to rent again next year.

Just a note to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at your cottage. Enjoyed looking at the pictures of the transformation-so much effort and great results. Hope to be returning next year.
