North Eastham, close to bike trail and ocean beaches

Charming cottage with plenty of room for 6. Great deck and private back yard. Ductless AC units came in handy when it got hot.

Needing a local getaway during the time of COVID, we did a last minute booking of this property for two weeks. The owners were extraordinarily helpful in answering our questions on cleaning, activities, and beaches (what was open, not open, even parking details).

It was our first time to N. Eastham and we fell in love. The house is perfectly suited to visit the bay beaches or the ocean beaches. Both are such a short trip away. While we loved the beaches, our young kids fell in love with Great Pond! It was so perfect for them. The parking at the beaches/pond was also easy (we purchased a beach parking pass after we arrived). This was critical as we had three small kids and they like a lot of stuff at the beach. The house had everything that we needed (we love to cook and found all of the essentials here) and things felt super clean. We used the washer and dryer many times and were grateful to have such nice units there. The wifi was reliable and fast, which was critical for us working remotely on some days.

The neighborhood was quiet, but still had friendly neighbors. It is on a cul-de-sac, which was perfect for our kids riding their bikes. We had a marvelous time and would absolutely stay here again. My daughter proclaimed that two weeks was not enough and perhaps we should just move into this house. Thank you for letting us share your property! show more show less

My wife and I stayed at this lovely cottage again this year. This is the third year in a row: it's fair to say it's become our regular Cape Cod destination.

Everything remains the same as in my previous review. The only thing I'll add is that we've communicated with the owners and rental agent several times about this and that, and find them to be extremely nice and helpful. This is another plus for the property.

All in all, this is a fine place for one or two couples, or a family with a few kids. We enjoyed it and recommend it highly! show more show less

We had a wonderful week in this lovely cottage in August 2015 and recommend it wholeheartedly.

There are two large bedrooms on the second floor and a huge bedroom on the first floor. The kitchen is well-equipped. The eating area is adjacent to the kitchen - really an extension of it. The backyard is large and secluded. There's a deck in the back, ideal for morning coffee and evening beverages.

The central A/C worked well, keeping the house cool and comfy all day. We ended up using it only during the hottest part of the day as that was sufficient for comfort.

The WiFi worked flawlessly and was fast enough to stream videos.

The cottage is on a quiet side street, near the end of the street. There was no traffic to speak of. At the same time, it's close to everything - a short bike ride to the bike trail, a short trip by bike or car to the ocean-side beaches and the shops and restaurants along Rte 6. It's a bit further to the bayside, of course, but still convenient.

All in all, this is a fine place for one or two couples, or a family with a few kids. We enjoyed it! show more show less
