''I can see that you keep the house in top condition. And you did a beautiful job on the renovation. It looks like just the relaxing, charming kind of place we are looking for.''

The house sits on a secluded lot abutting the National Seashore. The main floor is an open plan with large French doors that open to a screen porch and deck that seats 8 for dinner. The main level, with reclaimed oak floors, consists of a custom cooks kitchen with all new, top of the line appliances (including microwave and dishwasher), stone counter tops; a large dining area (seats 8 comfortably) which opens to the living room; a new full bath with a stall shower; a bedroom with a fireplace and 2 twin beds. A charcoal grill is located in the back yard as well as an outdoor shower.

The living room has a flat screen TV. There are also televisions on the lower level and in the primary bedroom. The house is equipped with cable and wireless internet.

The second level has 2 bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The primary bedroom has a queen bed with sitting area, and the 2nd bedroom has a full size bed and a twin. The bathrooms are new, with travertine floors and sea blue glass tile.

The lower level is finished and also includes the laundry room and a TV

The house is located on a dirt road, in a very quiet residential neighborhood which is great for walking and biking. Nauset Light (ocean) beach is less than a mile walk and the Cape Cod rail trail bike path is minutes away. The Bay Beaches are a short drive, bike ride or refreshing walk away.

Ben and Jerry's and other related shopping is 2/10ths of a mile off the bike path as well as the friendly fisherman and Macs for fresh fish and fried clams. Our favorite place for the ''best'' lobster rolls is the Friendly Fisherman who also has an amazing fresh seafood store who will cook your lobsters for you on short notice. Movie theaters in Wellfeet are about a 5-10 min drive. There is a miniature golf location around the corner from the house as well as a gym with a climbing wall.

    Wonderful home and atay!

    Our first time here but hopefully not our last. Beautiful home in a secluded area that is also convenient to Nauset Light Beach and 6E. The house is roomy with a wonderful flow and the owner very responsive to any questions.

    Hi,
    We loved staying at Jeff's place. Very nice design and a lot of space to spread out for a family. We also really liked the secluded location, which is close to the bike trail and Nauset Light Beach. We really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and good location for exploring the area.

    Nice Eastham Rental

    Convenient access to the Cape Cod National Seashore ranks this property high for us. Our family of four is comfortable and familiar with the house since it is our second year renting here. Bike riding, walking through Audubon in Wellfleet plus daily trips to the beaches all contributed to our nice getaway. The house itself is private and shaded. All around win.

    We stayed for one week in August 2013. There were 4 people in our group.

    The house has been elegantly restyled by the architect owner with lovely materials including marble kitchen counters and nice wooden floors. There would be ample space for 6 guests.

    The open plan living area works very well and the screened porch is a great place to chill out.

    The house is very well equipped with kitchen equipment.

    The location is very peaceful and the woods back up to the local high school. We rented bikes as this was a great way of getting to the beach and also to enjoy the nearby bike trail.

    We have vacationed on the Cape for our whole life. We are a perfect match. After years of searching and visiting some cool houses we decided on Cross Cart Way. There were family requirements from everyone- children (at the time 4 and 7). A quiet neighborhood so we can ride bikes to other kids houses, walking to the beach and close to the bike path. this house was a slam dunk on all the ''requirements'' The bonus was being close to the high school fields. The owners are both professionals, one being an Architect. The house, post renovation, is a house we could live in forever. we hope you feel the same way.
