We had a fantastic week at Alan's house with our 3 & 5 yr old. The location was perfect for the kids to bike & scooter to the beach, ice cream shop, & playground. Our 5 yr old was fine walking the 3 blocks to the beach.

The house was very clean, big, & in great shape for us. The window AC's kept the house plenty cool on the hottest days. Working with Alan was easy. We would absolutely consider renting again.

Great rental! We have rented this home several times and keep coming back. Easy walk to spectacular beach, coffee shop and The Raw bar. We took a different walk every morning on the many streets and trails. Plenty of space in the house. It was stocked with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our vacation with family. We rented this home with our daughters and their families—including three grandchildren. Very comfortable with full kitchen, dining room, half bath and large open living room (with a table and chairs for cribbage, puzzles, card games, etc.), bonus back room with two futons (great place for the grandchildren to play and adults to relax) and sliders out to the private, fenced-in back yard (table and chairs and fire pit), three generous-sized bedrooms upstairs with full bath with washer/dryer, and linens and towels are provided! All air conditioned! Family friendly! Alan, the host, was very accommodating and helpful!

Walk to private beach, Marketplace, dining, no need to leave this oasis. A beach buggy and four beach chairs are provided!
Driving distance to Mashpee Commons with stores, movies, and great dining. Grocery stores nearby.

We have rented at Popponesset for over 20 years, wish we had found this home sooner! A perfect place for a relaxing family vacation. We have already inquired about renting next year! show more show less

We're long-time renters in Popponesset. This is one of the best homes we have rented. It is clean and comfortable, very open, and has large bedrooms. It has very easy access to the beach in a nice beach neighborhood.

This house was extremely well maintained, clean, with A/C units throughout. We have rented in Popponesset for years and this is by far the best place we have stayed. Large bedrooms and addition on the back provide plenty of space for our family of 5, which is a rare for rentals at this price. Walk to the beach is about 2 minutes and maybe 10 min walk to Poppy marketplace. We have already requested the same week next summer!!!

Brought our family down for a beach vacation and all had a great time! We loved the house -- it was spacious, well maintained and exactly as represented. The owner was tremendous to deal with and very friendly. The walk to beach was not long and the beach was clean and friendly. Our grandchildren made friends to play with during the week. The family room was awesome and we played games and had a great vacation.

We have been vacationing on Popponesset for many years. We loved this house! Plenty of comfy seats to sit and watch shark week. Or have cookouts and invite family. Kitchen has all you need. Bright beachy colors with huge bedrooms...lots of space. M y son caught a stingray and a shark at the beach at the end of the street. We saw the moon rise on that beautiful starlit night! Lots of things to do in Poppy!

This is a great house in a great neighborhood. Popponesset is a perfect place for a family vacation. The house is a short bike ride to the community center and the market place, and only 2 short blocks from the beach, an easy walk. Everything in this house is well maintained and in perfect condition. It easily fit our family of six and lives very large - we had plenty of room to spread out, giving the kids room to play with their cousins and the adults to have their own space. We had a great experience renting this house this summer. It has a lovely "beachy" feel and plenty of space even more than described. It is in a great location with easy walk to the beach and not far from the community center or marketplace either. Homeowner was great answering all our questions and very nice. We hope to rent again next year.
