We had a great time at the McCarthy compound in Orleans the week of July 16th.
We had 17 members of our family and extended family enjoying your property and surrounding area. The pool was well used- one day hit close to 100 degrees.
The guys went out on a party boat one day and caught tuna and stripers. We ate like kings. The kids had crafts on the front porch every morning and we all enjoyed the screened in porch.
I liked the different areas that people could find to read or nap.

Our family members are spread far and wide so we don't get to see each other often enough. We gathered together and spent a marvelous week here and enjoyed the property and location immensely. The house provides for the needs of all. The young families have enough space to get the munchkins away for quiet time. The pool and grounds are perfectly maintained and lend themselves well to lounging, chatting and watching the munchkins in the pool.
The house and grounds have all of the amenities that our group needed starting with WIFI, a well equipped kitchen and an outdoor shower.
By mid-week we knew everyone was having a grand time when people started saying "this is the best vacation I ever had!"

In early August our family of two grandparents, two daughters with their significant others and two grandchildren stayed at the Tonset compound in Orleans. We are happy that we did. The main house is tastefully decorated, does not look like a summer rental and had all the amenities we needed, including a ping pong table and internet access. The separate cottage provided the grandparents with the privacy and quiet we needed.

The swimming pool was used frequently by all and was a joyful addition for the grandchildren and for the rest of us.

Nicely landscaped, on a dead end road it is located in walking distance of a pleasant cove we used for kayaking. We are glad we found this rental.

Our annual family vacation is always spent at the Cape (over 25 years).  Each year, we've tried a new rental property.  After staying at the house/cottage at Tonset, we have found the perfect spot!

It's roomy enough for our extended family, and the cottage is perfect for a family. The pool and hot tub really made our vacation unique and added a new dimension of fun.  

The pictures posted online don't do it justice-- the house is very tastefully decorated and has a lot of light-- perfect for a cape vacation. Overall, the property is well kept up and very clean.  We'll surely be back!
