We have stayed in many vacation homes over the years and this home by far came close to perfect. It was comfortable, tasteful and the perfect size for the two of us. Its location in the middle of the Cape made it easy to explore the area, knowing you had a pleasant place to relax waiting for you. Bob and Patty are ideal hosts, available but not hovering.

My husband and I have been coming to the Cape for many years, but I think we have found our favorite place to stay! Patty and Bob's beautiful guesthouse is the most charming, perfect place we have found on the Cape! You feel at home the second you walk through the door. It is furnished so beautifully and the bed is beyond comfortable! All the comforts of home are there for you!

We were so happy to return! Everything you could wish for is provided in this immaculate cottage. The beautiful gardens and setting make for a peaceful visit and the location is convenient to great beaches, restaurants, shopping and activities. We have been staying at the cottage for several years. It is like returning to a second home. The place is spotless and has everything you need. Patty & Bob are the best host and it always good to see them. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood and close to beaches, restaurants, site-seeing and shopping. My husband and I have stayed many times, all seasons and have never been disappointed, only very content. This recent summer week was the 'best ever'. We'll never tire from coming to this very special cottage!

My husband and I had a great stay with Patty and Bob in Orleans! The guest house was a good size, clean, cool and quiet inside. Parking is right next to the cottage. While the guest house is close to the main house it is not intrusive at all; Patty and Bob are happy to chat...or not based on their guests preference. I particularly enjoyed the perennial flower beds around the guesthouse and enjoying a cup of coffee on the side porch each morning. Don't forget to take the kayaks out to the bay!

This year marked the tenth time we returned to Patty and Bob's cottage in Orleans. As always, the cottage was spotless and the hosts welcoming and accommodating. The location is terrific - a small private beach which is terrific when the public beaches become crowded, and great restaurants and galleries nearby. We're already booked for next year!

We always enjoy our stay in this Orleans cottage because it has beautiful gardens, very clean and modern. The king bed is comfortable and has ample storage space in the bedroom.
The owners are such a lovely couple and pleasant conversationalist.

We thoroughly enjoyed spending our Anniversary at Patty and Bob's. We knew as were pulling in the driveway and saw this sweet "little" house this was going to be a great experience. Beautiful flowers and a nice private deck. When went inside it got even better. So comfy! Well stocked kitchen and very bright and airy. The bed was great and just calling my name after a full day on the Cape. The location was everything we wanted. Easy access to great beaches, towns and some pretty darn good restaurants. We hope to return next year. Patty and Bob are the best. Very helpful and definitely respect your vacation privacy. A win win!

My husband and I have the pleasure of staying in the beautiful guesthouse for a few days early last month. It is one of the nicest places in which we have every stayed on the cape. It is so hard to find something really comfortable and affordable for two people. The house was spotlessly clean and everything looked like new. Clearly much love and planning went into building this little house and maintaining the beautiful property. Patty and Bob were wonderful hosts and so welcoming. We will definitely be back!

We know the Cape. In fact, we know it better than some of the locals. With family members living there for many years, we refer to the Cape as our second home. Life presents changes and so we found ourselves in a new role: the renter. We have stayed in numerous rental properties over the years, mostly in mid and outer Cape towns. All were about what one would expect in a rental, viewing the property online and reading reviews from strangers. While we enjoyed our vacations, none of the rentals beckoned us back for a second stay.

That all changed with our recent getaway at this cottage. There is no property cleaner or neater than this guesthouse and no other landlords more gracious or accommodating than Patty and Bob. We love Cape Cod off season! We feel like we hit the Lottery finding this cottage and look forward to a return visit soon. It is a private, elegant, immaculate space with two of the friendliest, helpful owners. Privacy abounds with any assistance required a stone's throw away. This cottage is perfect! Just the right size for two... small enough not to feel overwhelming and large enough that you have plenty of room to spread out and relax. It is very clean and everything about it feels fresh and new. So easy to get to the best beaches and restaurants on the Cape yet it is tucked away in a quiet, private neighborhood. Patty and Bob are the ultimate landlords... they're friendly and hospitable, they equip the cottage with everything you need, they have answers to all your queries about the cottage and the area, yet they give you privacy. It has everything you could want or need. The location in Orleans is perfect - the community is quiet with a small beach that is never crowded. Orleans has good restaurants, shopping and a lovely vibe. We like its location as we can go in either direction on the Cape to explore.

Can't say enough about the hosts. They are respectful of our privacy but helpful when you need them. They truly care about their guests and work hard to make sure everything is perfect.

No matter when we visit, how chilly sunless etc visits to Patty and Bob's are always so relaxing and comfy. We just always visit when we can, no matter the season. Always a joy being back!

We needed a last minute two-night rental beginning on Christmas Day and reached out to Patty and Bob on Christmas Eve. Patty got right back to me and they couldn't have been more accommodating. They were more than willing to work with us and our schedule to alleviate the overflow at our house over the Christmas holiday. The guesthouse is in pristine and spotless condition with all the amenities one could ask for, and was a perfect getaway for the two of us. Very comfortable king-size bed, high speed internet, full kitchen with new appliances, nice private setting in South Orleans near Pleasant Bay. We really lucked out finding this rental and I have highly recommended it to my sister and her husband. Hopefully they can book a week's getaway sometime this summer. Thanks Patty & Bob. We keep coming back to this beautiful spot on the Cape. This place checks all the boxes and then some.

First and foremost, the hosts are the most delightful people, genuinely interested in making our visit the very best. The restaurant suggestions were spot on and resulted in the most delightful dinners out, all within 10/15 minutes drive and exceptional food/service. Patty has provided an assortment of incredibly organized info on entertainment, outings, restaurants, hiking/biking, etc.

This guesthouse is simply the best. We're not talking about the typical Cape 1950's camp, this place is brand new (well a few years old but the upkeep is impeccable). The layout is perfect, comfortable, super quiet with all the provisions for dining in and just chilling out either on the comfy furniture indoors or on the deck.

This mid Cape location is perfect for all activities. Minutes away from the Cape Cod Rail Trail, we biked up to Wellfleet for some awesome bakery snacks. Trail running from this guest house to some nearby woods surrounding local ponds; also minutes away is Nickerson State park offering plenty of hiking/running. An evening stroll through the quiet neighborhood, down to the private beach/cove is so relaxing and simply peaceful. Plenty of golf courses nearby as well.

All in all, when it comes to a weekend (or longer) getaway, it is a no brainer for us. This peaceful place with the best hosts "evah" is our home away from home. It is a little sad when the visit ends but always looking forward to the next time here.

We hadn't been to the Cape in two years, but truthfully, staying at Patty and Bob's idyllic guest house was so worth waiting for! We enjoyed a long Fall weekend surrounded by comfort in an extremely well appointed home. Yes, a HOME, because it truly felt that the owners were only thinking of us when they designed this wonderful rental! The location is ideal, the living spaces exceptional! We had another amazing week at Patty & Bob's cottage on Boulder Lane in Orleans. This is our favorite area to visit on the Cape, so the cottage is in a very convenient location. Our favorite beach is Nauset Beach. As always, the cottage is very clean, very comfortable (especially the bed), and has everything you need--just bring some food and clothes.

This is a beautiful time to visit the Cape, and reconnect with Patty & Bob. They are the best hosts ever! A couple of restaurants we like are Brax Landing, the Land Ho, and Hole in One for breakfast. In Chatham we had a great lunch at the Wild Goose Tavern.

We have been to this beautiful and immaculate cottage on 4 different occasions. It is an absolute joy to spend a vacation here as it feels like heaven on earth. The location is perfect and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.

We love renting Patty and Bob's cottage, and we look forward to returning year after year. Here are three of the top reasons we think their cottage is so special.

1) The Location: The cottage is located in an ideal part of Cape Cod. The town of Orleans / South Orleans, which is less than two hours from Boston, offers convenient and quick access to other parts of the Cape. You can easily take a fun day or half-day trip to the Outer, Lower, Mid or Upper Cape to experience all that this part of Massachusetts has to offer. Check out the shops in Chatham, see if you can spot a whale at Race Point, hop on a bike and ride the rail trail, take a hike at Nickerson State Park, look for birds at the Mass Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary in Wellfleet, board a Hyannis Harbor cruise, find your favorite ice cream in Harwich…And yet, because the cottage itself is situated in a quiet spot, nestled in a leafy, park-like private homeowners association, while you are not far from the major Cape thoroughfares, you feel tucked away from the hustle and bustle of traffic and busy roads. You don't hear the rumble of cars whizzing by, you are soothed by the sounds of nature!

2) The Beaches: It's your choice where you want to swim, sunbathe, or stroll, and again, you are close to many options. Like to brave the surf of the Atlantic? Enjoy watching the waves of Nantucket Sound? Want a calmer beach day on Cape Cod Bay? From the cottage you are a very short drive to any of these beaches. Right in Orleans you can spend your day spotting seals at Nauset, or walk at low tide to the ends of the earth at Skaket, or watch the sun set over Rock Harbor. Of course, you can also take the five-minute walk to the private beach right near the cottage and enjoy the solitude as you gaze on Pleasant Bay. You are never far from a beautiful beach when you're staying at Patty and Bob's cottage.

3) The Cottage and The Hosts: The cottage is the perfect size for two people… large enough to spread out, yet still cozy. And so clean! Every year that we've returned, the entire cottage is so sparkling fresh it seems like it is brand new! The cottage has everything you need, but not more than you need. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedroom closet is very conveniently appointed, and there are thoughtful extras supplied – puzzles, games, movies, books, picnic cooler. But, there is still plenty of empty storage space in drawers, shelves, closets, to stow away what's yours while you're visiting so that you can get unpacked and really feel at home. And, most important, Patty and Bob are excellent hosts. They are thoughtful, cheerful, helpful, courteous, welcoming and friendly yet always respectful of your privacy. We can't think of anything they could do to improve what a stay at their cottage is… they've thought of it all, already! Thanks to Patty and Bob, this cottage is truly a gem!

This cottage was once again a wonderful retreat. The cottage is beautiful, well kept, spotless and very comfortable. Patty and Bob are wonderful hosts. They are there if you need them, but allow you all of the privacy you want or need.

The location of the cottage is great, close to the National Seashore, and central on The Cape so not a far drive to anywhere else on the Cape you might want to visit. Wasn't our first stay at the cottage and won't be our last!

We had a wonderful stay at Patty and Bob's guesthouse. It was extremely clean and a great location for exploring the Cape. Patty and Bob are very sweet and thoughtful, and gave us several recommendations on what to do during our short stay. It was a perfect place to spend a few relaxing days away.

While during these difficult times and reluctance to leave home, my husband and I had a most pleasurable 4 night stay at the Platten Cottage. We stepped back into a comfort zone, bringing us much peace and healing. It took awhile!

Our March 22-29 week in Patty & Bob's beautiful guesthouse was the perfect way to celebrate being vaccinated and feeling the freedom to travel to the nearby Cape. From our very arrival, we felt welcomed. We explored, hiked, Zoomed, marketed, found everything we needed both in the cottage and in the area. A day in P'town brought time on the beach and a first inside restaurant experience.

Patty & her family were respectful of our privacy yet available and so helpful when needed. We look forward to being there again and seeing the gardens and flowers.

We chose to stay Patty's guesthouse as a place where we could participate in a four-day virtual conference—we wanted a place with peace and quiet. The guesthouse worked beautifully for us. It was well appointed, very comfortable, and a quick drive into Orleans center. The lovely little beach a short walk away left us wishing it was summer, so we could enjoy the secluded strip of sand with its gorgeous view out to Pleasant Bay. Patty and Bob were incredibly friendly and helpful, as well. We've rented a lot of places on the Cape for over thirty years, and this was among the loveliest.

We have been thinking about a way to safely get away during the pandemic and found the most perfect place and location to finally do just that. Our hosts, Patty and Bob, have the most beautiful guest house located in a serene neighborhood with a short walk to a lovely private beach and plenty of wooded open space for quiet evening walks. Orleans town center and the Cape Cod Rail Trail are minutes away and provided us with the start of some great cycling on the Cape. We also enjoyed a fun round of golf at a beautiful golf course 10 minutes away. The guest house location mid Cape provides the National Seashore and short drives to many highlights of the Cape, short drives being key for us.

The house was immaculate and Patty is so meticulous with respect to every detail that we had never felt more comfortable being away from home. Big, comfortable king size bed, tiled bathroom, laundry, huge tv for streaming, binders of local info, awesome gas grill and a fully equipped kitchen to make those pandemic in-house gourmet meals caused us to reconsider our departure and possibly extend our stay.

To sum it up, we loved our stay, Patty and Bob are the best hosts evah and would not hesitate to visit again for our next travel to the Cape.

I have admired this cottage for years looking at rentals on the web site and always said I am going to stay there sometime when it is just my husband and I. I am happy to say that wish came true. We were so thrilled we got a chance to rent Patty and Bob's guesthouse to relax and get away from it all, it was perfection. The best comforts of home you can imagine. I can't wait to return in warmer weather to see Patty's beautiful flowers in bloom. Patty provided a binder with the most detailed information I have ever seen.

What a lovely gem!! We stayed here back in 2018 and simply adored the guesthouse then and equally as much now, if not more. We truly enjoyed the company of the homeowners, Patty and Bob - kind and great people all-around. They were so accommodating on all fronts, especially with the cleanliness and enhanced cleaning of the guesthouse ~ so very important during the pandemic. We were attracted to this cottage because of the pictures, showing a neat, clean and bright home. The cottage was even better in person! Everything was impeccably neat and organized. The photo of the exterior shows the plants when they were new. They have grown since planting and the exterior looks even nicer. The owner provided the best and most comprehensive information binder! We've been going to the Cape for over 20 years and her maps and info provided things to do that were totally new to us. Also the neighborhood was simply gorgeous. Too bad we didn't have enough time to explore the nearby ponds. We will definitely to back!

We have stayed in Patty and Bob's perfect cottage several times before and as always, it was wonderful! Prior to the pandemic, this cottage was probably the cleanest rental on the Cape... needless to say, it was clean and sanitized to the utmost this summer!

The cottage is comfortable and just the right size for two people... plenty of room to spread out yet still have that cozy, just-the-two-of-us feel of togetherness. And so well equipped... including a notebook with the instruction manuals to all the appliances.

We visited our favorite spots but chose to get take-out or cook for ourselves on the grill on the cottage porch. We discovered that it is actually relaxing to stay at home in the evenings!

We've been coming to the Orleans/South Orleans area for decades and know it well, but there is always something new to discover. This year we had a very pleasant hike at the Audubon Society in Wellfleet... a place we'd never visited before... beautiful birds, beautiful marshy seascape and a refreshing walk along the shoreline and in a pine forest. We frequented our favorite beaches - Nauset and Skaket - multiple times and also stopped in a Race Point and Marconi. The social distancing rules were in effect and everyone was following them, but no one's vacationing spirit seemed dampened.

Bob and Patty are superb hosts... friendly, helpful, welcoming. And their dog Ketzi is a delight... and so well trained!

Very nicely decorated with everything you need for your stay. It was so hot the week we went and having the central air was so nice after being at the hot beach!! The private beach was so relaxing!! Bring water shoes so you do not hurt your feet at low tide. Most of the time we had the beach to ourselves!!! The guesthouse has beautiful gardens that Patty keeps looking beautiful all summer. Great place to see birds and butterflies!!! The King size bed was very comfortable. We went during COVID so we cooked almost all our meals . Nice outdoor grill and everything you need to cook. Nice area to explore!!

Some of the towns we visited were Orleans, Chatham, Harwich, Brewster, Eastham. Saw beautiful beaches and lighthouses. Plenty of outdoor activities to do. Great area for walking and bikes. There are places to get food to go and nice garden stands to get fresh produce in Orleans. Although we missed going out to have a nice dinner due to COVID . We enjoyed our stay. We had a wonderful time at Patty & Bob's guesthouse. The spacious house is well decorated and everything is well thought out to a small detail. Everything inside and out was the highest quality and very comfortable. The kitchen had all the latest amenities and well appointed. A modern spacious shower with a terrific water pressure, very comfortable king size bed with a choice of comfortable pillows, outdoor deck with a Weber grill - everything was first class. But what made our experience special was the generosity and kindness of Patty and Bob. They were so attentive, friendly and accommodating. We felt not just like renters but rather as a part of their family.

Patty and Bob did such a nice job with their guesthouse! It has everything you can imagine in it for a comfortable stay—they've literally thought of everything. From super lush sheets to top of the line utensils to a grill and adorable deck, we had such a relaxing time using their spot. They're available at any time to assist with any of your needs which was also so appreciated. 10/10 recommend.

Immaculate, newly renovated and charming guest house, well equipped, great owners, super helpful in every way! While the amenities were great, the most important thing about it is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.

We spent a blissful, restful week at the comfortable, clean and spacious "Little House". The property and location surpassed our expectations. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, and the beach was fantastic; South Orleans is a lovely area of the Cape. We were a little anxious about traveling this summer in light of the current health crisis, but couldn't bear the thought of missing out on our 7th year at Patty and Bob's cottage. Knowing how clean the cottage always is and how responsive the hosts are made us feel far more comfortable. We are so glad we made the decision we did. The neighborhood is so quiet that we were able to take long walks without any concern and rarely saw more than one person on our walks. A few mornings we were literally the only people on the private beach. Incredibly relaxing. Can't say enough good things about the cottage, the area, the experience and the hosts. Already booked for next summer.

What an absolutely wonderful guest house! We needed a quiet get-away in the off season and this was perfect in every way. It is immaculate, very nicely decorated and it is obvious that Patty and Bob have seen to every detail. They are excellent hosts and provide lots of information about the area. We stayed in this beautiful cottage for five days and loved it! It is filled with high quality finishes and furnishings. We were comfortable and relaxed the whole visit. The owners were helpful and friendly. The location is excellent for traveling the Cape and offers special treats of private trails and beach. We couldn't recommend it more!!

We've spent 4 totally wonderful days at Patty's and Bob's perfect hideaway. Those generous hosts have thought of everything to have us feel at home. The bedding is most comfortable, the living room is cozy, and if you like to take the time to cook, there's all you need to do so. This little corner of paradise is also in the perfect location: in the middle of the Cape, close to the beach, in a private neighborhood, surrounded by trees and close to Orleans center where you can find fine restaurants and groceries. In our opinion, one on the best kept secrets on Cape Cod is Patty & Bob"s Little 8-1/2 Cottage in Orleans. This little gem is a place that both my wife and I have enjoyed over the past several years. It has all the comforts of home and yet you still feel like you"re staying with close friends. The cottage which is virtually new, has a modern open architecture design which houses the living room, kitchen and a small dining area accompanied by a comfortable high open loft effect to make it feel like a real cottage. The bedroom, bathroom and laundry area are just as nice.

It"s placed in a quiet upscale neighborhood and is located near their residence. Just about everything you need is supplied with the place and it"s super clean! I could go on and on but the best way to appreciate it is seeing and staying there yourself as we have done over and over again.

As always the 8 1/2 cottage is top notch. The bed is super comfy. The furniture is cozy and perfect for reading. The kitchen has everything you could need for cooking and we used it plenty! Bob and Patty are the perfect hosts and always make fantastic recommendations. We had an amazing experience seeing whales breaching off of Nauset Light Beach. We can"t wait for next year. Patty and Bob have made the cottage a home away from home. The "little house" is immaculate, tastefully decorated, and stocked with anything and everything you could possibly think you might need. Patty's meticulous gardens have really grown over the years and make this place an oasis. The location is in a residential area that is quiet and centrally located to many restaurants, beaches and towns to visit and explore. They have provided an abundance of brochures to help plan activities but chatting with Bob and Patty is our favorite way to learn about the Cape. These are just some of the reasons we will be returning for our fifth year!

As always, the cottage vacation was perfect. If you are looking for a super clean (and I am the pickiest!), comfortable place with absolutely everything you could possible need, the cottage is a home run! Patty and Bob are wonderful! My husband and I head out to the Cape every summer and this year we were lucky enough to stay at Patty and Bob's guest house. The experience was fantastic! This was our sixth trip to the cottage and it was just as wonderful as always. It's just lovely, lovingly maintained and immaculate. Whatever you need is there and you couldn't ask for better hosts. The location is excellent and having a private beach means you'll never have to fight the crowds. Although we always make time to head over to Nauset Beach for the real beach experience—food trucks, waves and lots of sand. One of our favorite parts of the vacation has come to be seeing Patty and Bob again. They're just great people and even better landlords. It's no accident that most of their rentals are returning guests.

A return visit to Patty and Bob's cottage, is a must! It is like no other place to relax. We love the peacefulness and cleanliness of the decor and there is never a lack of necessities.The cottage is well equipped with reading material, games, movies, not to mention the lovely music we listen to. The private peaceful beach down the road, is like no other. Patty and Bob make sure that there are beach chairs and clean beach towels. Sitting out on the deck permits you to enjoy Patty's colorful and beautiful perennial garden. Of course we'll return but worry that once you've read this review, I won't be able to book my favorite week!

Perfect cottage! Private location! Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. Patty and Bob thought of everything to make our time here comfortable and complete with everything you would need, and more, to have a wonderful vacation. King bed, beautifully tiled bathroom and hardwood floors throughout. We started each day making breakfast in a fully equipped and ultra clean, modern kitchen. A 5 minute walk in this private, residential subdivision brought us to Pleasant Bay, with its private beach and dock.

The location made it easy to explore the lower part of Cape Cod, from Orleans to P-town. We traveled to the National Seashore, Truro Vineyard, and even took a day trip to Nantucket from Hyannis. We had perfect weather and a perfect day!

All of Patty and Bob’s recommendations were spot on. But truly, the best part of our stay there, was meeting them. Simply wonderful !

I have stayed at many Air BnB’s on Cape Cod and internationally and this place is the best I have ever experienced. From the beautiful landscapes, the lovely designed, clean and so well maintained guest house to the super hosts, Patty and Bob. I had an exceptional relaxing stay in their sweet oasis.

They created a hidden gem for anyone to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet in a home with great comforts. Patty thought of everything!! She welcomes you with a warm heart and playful spirit (Bob and Ketzi , the dog too). And is so knowledgeable about the Cape and places to go and experience.

We know this part of the Cape very well... one of us has been coming to Little Pleasant Bay since 1956... and we LOVE this cottage. We're repeat visitors to this "home away from home"... the place to relax and unwind from the moment you turn in the drive. Patty and Bob (wonderful hosts!) keep the place sparkling clean and have provided you with everything you will need... you just unpack your bags, load your groceries into the refrigerator and you are "at home."

Patty's comprehensive notebook for guests has all the minute details of how any and all appliances operate as well as many suggestions for outings and restaurants. The layout of the house is perfect for two... intimate and cozy yet plenty of room to spread out. The neighborhood is well situated for jaunts to Nauset or Skaket nearby and easy drives to Chatham or Provincetown... and it is very quiet. I can't think of a better place to stay on the Cape!

This was our third year in the Little House. The hospitality of Patty and Bob and a great location in a perfect cottage keep bringing us back year after year. We had warm and sunny weather for some great beach days at Nauset Beach and we always find fun activities to fill our non-beach days. A trip into Falmouth to visit the Highfield Hall & Gardens was an interesting lesson in how the elite lived on the Cape years ago. The gardens did not compare to those of Patty and her neighbor Bernice though! The cottage is very conveniently located to many good restaurants. This year we enjoyed a great meal at Marshside in Dennis. Thank you, Bob and Patty, for creating a wonderful home away from home!

We were so excited to return to Patty and Bob’s Little House this year after missing two summers. The house is, of course, immaculate and has everything that you could ever need or want. We have been coming to Orleans for over 30 years and have rented many wonderful houses. This sweet cottage is the nicest of them all. It's not only beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, but Patty and Bob are the most gracious hosts. They also provide much more than most: towels and linens are included. They made sure we were happy with everything. While they are closely located, they knew exactly when to allow us our privacy and when to reach out.

But the most surprising bonus: we are musicians and found the acoustics of the house were outstanding! Which led to being appreciated by many in the neighborhood. After kayaking in Pleasant Bay, swimming in Crystal Lake, hiking the many trails and paths around the bays, eating in or out, shopping in downtown Orleans or Provincetown, who knew that playing our music would endear us to so many. Thank you, Patty and Bob, for our wonderful vacation. We came as renters and left as friends!

From the moment we arrived the little house far exceeded our expectations. We both decided we could be perfectly content to settle in and never leave. As a bonus, Orleans and the surrounding area is so picturesque, it is like stepping back in time. A little piece of paradise.

It all started as a surprise birthday getaway for my boyfriend and ended up being the best vacation we ever had. Nayou loved every little thing about this cottage. He couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful, cozy and homey it is. Patty helped us with planning our days and we followed it. We only had three days so we couldn’t see everything that the Cape has to offer. We will be back to this cottage soon. Thank you, Bob and Patty, for making this plan successful!

My visit this year was the result of how much I enjoyed my time last year. The cottage is beautiful inside and out, furnished with anything you could possibly need for your stay. This is by far not your typical cottage rental. The homeowners are meticulous on every detail in the cottage from the beautiful decorating down to the toothbrush you forgot or the blow dryer. The landscaping is beautiful, there's a nice deck with table, chairs and a grill for cooking outside.

There is a beach area within walking distance to set up the beach chair, get the book and enjoy the Cape. Larger beaches are a short distance as are restaurants and shopping. I have rented at the Cape for many years and this is by far the nicest, most comfortable and relaxing place I have rented. Patty and Bob are friendly, outgoing and helpful hosts for whatever you may need.

This cottage is not your traditional cottage . It is a true piece of heaven. It's immaculate, decorated with great taste, amazingly well-equipped, and so welcoming.

We have been visiting the Cape for many years and have rented numerous homes. This property ranks as one of the best on several fronts and will certainly be one we visit again. Since becoming empty nesters, it is very difficult to find smaller rentals that are modern, clean and comfortable. It is well furnished, stocked and beyond immaculate. For example, many rentals of this size do not offer a King size bed, let alone one as comfortable and of a quality as this one was. Bob and Patty are great hosts. They provide their guests with privacy but also are available for anything you might need. The location is perfect for jumping off to everything the Cape offers and is incredibly quiet.

The cottage is exactly as it is in the listing. It is beautifully furnished, very clean, furnished with anything you could possibly need while you are there. It is quiet, relaxing and beautifully landscaped. You are within reasonable distance to grocery stores, beaches, Christmas Tree Shops, and restaurants. If you want the scenic route, hop on Rt 28 to go through some of the Cape towns. If you want the speedier route, take Rt 6. Rt 6A is the quieter side and is another side of the Cape to enjoy.

The cottage is an experience you will be pleasantly surprised with. I have been looking for a return rental and the cottage will be it. No matter what room you are in, you have to say, this is really nice. The kitchen is fully stocked for any cooking needs, there are beautiful appliances, cookware, dishes, etc. The bedroom has luxurious bed linens, and uniquely your headboard is a refinished door to add a little character.

Your hosts Patty and Bob are outgoing, helpful and are like meeting old friends.

If you look at this listing and think this can't be or it's overstated, it isn't. It is just as beautiful as the pictures, and don't have any doubts about renting. You will be totally pleased

What an an awesome cottage! My husband and I spent a lovely weekend in this sweet home, surrounded by Cape woodlands and perennials. Everything you'll ever need is provided and everything is so crisp and clean.

The best part for me, a former marine biologist, is the proximity to, and the use of the private beach and dock on the shores of Pleasant Bay in Orleans. We were able to launch our kayak and paddle around in the calm waters, enjoying the views, the birds and the seals who popped up occasionally. Later, we enjoyed a nice picnic on the sandy beach. We had the place all to ourselves!

Patty and Bob, the owners, were great. I felt like I already knew them before we even met. Patty was so informative and friendly. They were kind enough to let us stay longer on the day we were leaving in order to enjoy one of the dwindling days of nice fall weather on the Cape. What a great treat!

We will definitely come back to this great little cottage. (We like the design so much we are even thinking of building a similar cottage as a year round retirement home somewhere someday!)
