My wife, daughter and I enjoyed everything about the place. It was clean and comfortable. Wilma was very responsive and very easy to work with. The neighbors are so kind and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Loved staying here right on the water. Well-equipped tiny cottage steps from the beach. Lovely sunsets, yummy lobster rolls a short walk away at Days Market. Just perfect.

We love staying here! The setting and views are spectacular— and only a few steps to the water. The cottage has charm and personality— had everything we needed— and is immaculate! Wilma is accommodating and is very pleasant to deal with. We are very happy there will be air conditioning this year. We live all year to return to this little piece of paradise.

We love this place. It is literally ON the beach. You just have to walk down the stairs from the deck. The sunrises and sunsets are beautiful. Be sure to bring your binoculars to watch the wales breaching in the bay! We highly recommend this lovely cottage.

My daughter and I stayed at this beautiful cottage for a week. We had a blast!! The cottage is right on the beach, just walk down the stairs and there is the ocean!! We had everything we needed and more. Sitting out on the deck was lovely, especially seeing the sunsets. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was so nice!! And it is close to P'town, a definite plus. The owners are very nice and quick to answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend renting this cottage!!

The paper work and deposit process with Wilma was easy. When my wife and I arrived for our vacation, we could not have been more happy with the cottage and location. The cottage has all of the feeling of exactly what you think of when you think of a cottage on the beach on Cape Cod. The cottage is clean, the decor is perfect. There is a beautiful large private deck that is literally ten feet from the ocean. You go down a few stairs and there you are with your toes in the sand and a drink in your hand. It is a stand alone cottage but we made friends with people on both sides. Although the cottage is in Truro, it is only minutes to Provincetown and all of their shopping and restaurants, although Truro has plenty to offer as well. There are seals to watch and fish to catch, right from shore. We had a great time in a beautiful beach cottage. Thank you, Wilma and Tom, for your hospitality. We look forward to visiting again.

This was my second summer renting from Wilma and Tom. I will not go anywhere else!! The cottage is so cute and clean. Everything you would need is provided (except sheets and towels). Wilma is very accommodating and answers all your questions and concerns right away. The view is amazing and location the best.

We had a lovely time at the cottage! We loved hearing the waves the entire time and staring at the ocean for hours from the great deck. At night we could see so many stars-- it was breathtaking. I really can't say enough about the proximity to the water and the sense of really being on the beach. We loved it! The location in N. Truro is fantastic-- close enough to P'town to go in for dinner or events. The cottage itself is quite small and compact, which could be a challenge if you are looking to spread out or have a lot of gear. Everything we needed was there and it's very charming throughout (note-- there is no oven, no W/D, and limited cable. We enjoyed taking a break from cooking and laundry and enjoyed the chance to get the kids off screen-time. But it might not be for everyone). Wilma was great about making sure it all went smoothly and following up after the trip.

Perfect grand cottage on the beach. We had a fabulous week at the Mermaid Cottage. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect location. Sunsets were spectacular. Today is our last day and wish we had one more week. We will certainly be coming back.

I had a wonderful time; the cottage was very clean and had a lot of personality. I really enjoyed sitting on the desk and listening to the ocean and the cottage being right on the water. I am looking forward to going back next year.

If you want to relax, this is the place to be. Direct access to the beach, beautiful views of the water and dunes and easy access to the shops and dining in P Town.

We have been renting this wonderful cottage for many summers.

First of all, the location is fantastic! Right on the beach on Cape Cod Bay. It’s a quiet location but only minutes to Provincetown where there are many shops, art galleries and restaurants. In the summer, there’s also a shuttle that goes up and down Shore Road that you can take to avoid parking in Provincetown.

The cottage is small but well appointed. It’s completely decorated with a sea theme which only adds to our stay by the shore. The bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. It’s a very bright and airy space.

Outside, there’s a very large deck overlooking the water. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy the sun and sunsets over the Bay. There’s also a gas barbecue that you can fire up at night to grill the outstanding sea food you can find locally.

Our host, Wilma, could not be more accommodating. She always ensured that our stay was memorable.

We can’t wait to go back.

This is the third summer that we have spent a week at this property. It is truly amazing! Not only is it comfortable, it's also close to many of the amenities that we enjoy doing around the Cape. The truly best part is enjoying the tremendous sunsets overlooking the ocean on the private deck.

It all makes for wonderful memories. We've already booked the place for next year.

This property is perfect for the couple or family with small children who want to experience all the beauty of the Cape at their fingertips. Location, location, location is all I can say. No "Clipboard of Fun" required for your vacation in this home, you won't want to stray far from the house. It is a small house so bring only what you need. Adorably decorated with fun and whimsical characters, nicely updated, well equipped and in much better condition than your typical rental. My family enjoyed the deck from sun up to sundown and grilled the freshest fish we could get each night on the gas grill. With the beach at the bottom of the steps, the ocean is available at your every whim. My children loved building castles and looking for sea glass along the coast line for hours and hours. Once the kiddies went to bed we enjoyed "adult beverages" on the deck while star gazing and admiring the twinkling lights of Provincetown. Leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life to come to this little sanctuary if you can. I promise you it's a place where memories are made.....

This has been one of our favorite family vacations! We have seen the most spectacular display of whales right from the deck. Also the sunsets can't be beat! We had a good time spotting whale tails, flukes and spouts. The whales gave us a show every day. Even a better viewing than Race Point. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us. It was great! Our daughter loved all the decor!

"Best Vacation" Tom and Wilma's cottage has become my favorite vacation spot! The cottage is so comfy with fun decor and a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a restful time away from the stress of home. The deck is wonderful and the water is just steps away. I loved sleeping with the window open to hear the water at night. I can't wait to return ASAP! The location in N Truro is away from the busyness of Ptown and just a short walk from The National Seashore. Be sure to stop down at The Savory Sweet Escape Cafe for amazing scones. Enjoy!!!

Adorable cottage right on Cape Cod Bay! Immaculate, imaginatively and adorably decorated, and everything in perfect working order . . . from the coffee maker, toaster, microwave, stove, fridge . . . to the TV, windows, shower and grill. Very clean, well maintained; and the owner is a delight to interact with. Close to everything we like to do . . . whale watch, shopping in P-town, jogging and cycling near Race Point, beach in Wellfleet, and relaxing on the deck enjoying the sunset over Cape Cod Bay. I highly recommend it.
