This house sits atop a dune on Cape Cod Bay in Truro, one row of cottages back from the edge of the bluff. The view is breathtaking, the sunsets across the water are spectacular. After dark, the lights of Provincetown glitter on the horizon and reflect on the bay, and the famous Highland Lighthouse flashes in the ocean-side windows.
The house has 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious, fireplaced living room facing the water and leading out to a large deck. Cathedral ceilings add to the light and airy quality of the house. Handsome antiques—armoires, chests, and beds grace the rooms. (Not to worry: mattresses are not antiques —- they are new and firm.) A second, smaller deck off the kitchen faces the sunrise — an ideal spot for morning coffee. The house is very private. The path to the beach descends gradually — no stairs to climb!
For restaurants, entertainment, shops, and galleries, Provincetown is 10 min. away, and Wellfleet is 15 min.
