Wareham is ''The Gateway to the Cape'' it’s a wonderful place to vacation and is a perfect location for easy exploration of Cape Cod, Providence R.I. ,Newport R.I., Plymouth and Boston. Conveniently located one hour south of Boston, Providence R.I. and Newport R.I. .While in the area you can visit historic attractions such as Plymouth Plantation and Plymouth Rock, New Bedford Whaling Museum, Battleship Cove, Lizzie Borden House,Roger Williams Zoo Providence R.I.,Wrentham Village Premium Outlets and the Amazing Newport Mansions. There are many antique shops; art galleries,outlet shops, and quaint gift shops in and around the area. There’s a ferry services from nearby Falmouth to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard ,just a half hour boat ride away to the Vineyard. You can take a cruise along the historic Cape Cod Canal, bike, roller blade and walk along its picturesque Bike path. For an extra day of fun for the family be sure to go to Wareham's ''Water Whizz'' water park.4th of July weekend has a Antique Show in the center of town and you can see fireworks from our beach. Fireworks are also in Onset , a short drive from our house.
