Lt's Island Gem- Private Beach

We had such a great week on Lt. Island! We went with 2 adults and 2 kiddos, ages 8 and 16, and there was truly something for everyone! We all loved the big deck with lots of seating and a table with space for playing blokus after the beach. Us grown ups had our privacy upstairs with an en-suite bathroom and the 2 boys had their own br and bedrooms downstairs. I only showered in the outdoor shower, which has an excellent shower head even! The hole house was very clean and fairly updated. The kitchen was fine, though we mostly ate out (I love to eat my way around the cape!), it could use some better pans for making breakfast though. The beach that is walking distance disappears at high tide. The bayside beach on the Island is lovely (watch out for Green Head Flies!) and we all loved jumping off the bridge at high tide! This is a wonderful little cottage. We have stayed here for many years and loved every second. Joe and Judy are great to work with and keep this home impeccable. It is spotless when we check in and that is a HUGE deal to me. We spent most of our time out on the large deck at night looking at all the stars. The rooms are all more than comfortable and the decor just adds to the beachiness of it all. There is a nice bay beach a short walk away and it is never crowded. We haven't been able to stay here in recent years due to job lay offs but we have so many wonderful memories there. Hopefully we can make more happy memories again soon. We would rent it again in a heartbeat. show more show less
