We had an enjoyable time in this beautifully located house on a lovely private lot. We were nervous about renting during the time of covid pandemic but felt very reassured by Bruce's meticulous attention to details and guidelines. The house was immaculate with plenty of cleaning supplies available. The house is an easy walk to a tidal spit which is one of the gems of Cape Cod. Although The house is not large, it is light, airy and comfortable with all basic amenities. The deck is spacious and great for relaxing and eating. We did have some problems with getting consistent internet but they plan to change providers so should not be a problem in the future. I would rent here again. show more show less

Our family has enjoyed this spot on Lt. Island for several years. In particular, the pristine beaches, kayaking around the island and amazing natural habitats stand out for us. The unique scenery and sunsets cannot be matched. The home is clean, roomy and has all the conveniences a family needs. Don't miss this special place! Love the outside shower!!!!

Our whole family likes to return to Lieutenant Island. The cottage is luminous, spacious and comfortable. We like the quiet of this place, the private beach on the island, the incredible sunset and sunrise. Ocean beach, cycle track, ponds and many activities are close by. Every year we come from Montreal, and the kids ask for this place again and again.

"My family and I had a wonderful week at this vacation home on Lieutenant Island in Wellfleet. The home itself was clean, quaint, and comfortable, just what I expected and was hoping for. There was enough privacy so that we were comfortable sitting on the deck for dinner. The ocean was a very short walk away. You could hear it from the deck. The swimming was great at high tide. It's a nice area for walking or jogging...unpaved roads, very little traffic, nice scenery. It's off the beaten path, but still convenient to area attractions. The Wellfleet drive-in is very close by, as well as mini-golf and ice cream. It's also a very easy drive to Provincetown. We had a fun, relaxing, peaceful vacation.
