Vacation Planner
Situated on a beautiful and serene cove leading to Wellfleet Harbor by kayak or canoe, this house, designed by a Painter named Jack Kitson, is a perfect place to rest and have lots of fun including launching canoes/kayaks into the cove right from the back of the house. There are seven beautiful beaches within 10 minutes by car including Coast Guard Beach (8th on the 10 most beautiful beaches in the US), Marconi Beach (3 miles), Lecount Hollow Beach (1 mile), etc. all with beautiful, natural and unspoiled sandy beaches without manmade structures of any kind in view from the beach except stairs leading to the beach. This is why many discerning vacationers love Cape Cod beaches! Yet, the house is only 20 minutes from fun-filled Provincetown; 5 minutes from the serene surroundings of Massachusetts Audobon Society's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary; only 0.5 miles from the wonderful Cape Cod bike trail. There are numerous places to visit while staying in the house in addition to many br...

eathtaking, unspoiled and pristine beaches: the famous Fort Hill Area for a stroll while absorbing the beautiful surroundings, unlikely spectacles of Sand Dunes in Truro, fun filled streets and excellent ...restaurants of Provincetown, and a newly opened, now famous in the whole Cape area, an extraordinary French Bakery/restaurant called PB Boulangerie on Route 6 in Wellfleet, only five minute walk from the house where you can taste a touch of Paris in the middle of Cape Cod of all places!
The spacious house is beautifully decorated by an artist owner to give a very special and tranquil ambience. All bedrooms have access to decks and four have beautiful views of the cove. In the spring of 2011, the house underwent a major renovation. The Master Bedroom on the third floor has a spacious modern bathroom with a large picture window overlooking the beautiful Cove while taking a soak in a tub, and an adjacent spacious shower with a large picture window overlooking the cove as well. The first floor bedroom has a spacious modern bathroom. The first floor living space (bedroom, kitchen, living room, dining room) has two Heat pumps supplying a total cooling capacity of 24,000 Btuh using whisper quiet, high efficiency (SEER of 25) systems that were installed during the renovation in 2011 to accommodate a tenant with a Multiple Sclerosis just in case the weather gets unusually hot even though this floor does not really need A/C that often. Each of the other four bedrooms has its own A/C system as well just in case the weather gets too hot to ensure a pleasant stay.
We provide Comcast cable TV; high speed internet with WiFi; a gas grill, and the deck furniture. Linens and towels, if not brought by the guests, are available through a separate linen rental company based on the number of linen items and duration of use. There is enough space to park four large cars or six medium sized cars in the driveway.
There are five decks altogether: The 700 sq.ft. main deck as shown in the picture is attached to the livingroom right on the Cove to accommodate many functions such as a birthday party, family reunion, etc. The second largest deck is close to 400 sq.ft. but away from the house in the garden also right on the Cove. The other three decks are directly off the bedrooms. The decks look out to the quiet cove often with spectacular views such as an unforgettable sunset when the atmospheric condition is just right; rare birds; swarming school of fish in the waters of the cove and swirling birds; and wide open views of the cove.
People often comment that the house and its surroundings impart the sense of serenity and positive energy to help replenish the body and mind of those who stay here.
Dear Kang,
Both families greatly enjoyed the use of your home. Having five bedrooms was a big plus for our group. We have never stayed in Wellfleet and as we found out is a great place to stay with all their beaches, ponds for kayaking and all the great restaurants for eating seafood!!! This was a great vacation for us and we came back very relaxed. Thank you again.
Kenny P from Portland, CT, who vacationed in July 2011.
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Lee,
Your house was the perfect place for our extended family to gather. We were eight adults and two children, and everyone was comfortable and had plenty of space to claim as there own. The large deck overlooking the salt marsh was our daily gathering place for relaxed conversation and meals. We were particularly impressed with Mrs. Lee's lovely artwork, and the newly renovated bathrooms were an elegant treat.
Thank you, Ric

Hi Kang: We are still missing Wellfleet badly! What a treasure that spot is. We so enjoyed our stay at your place and all the beaches and ponds and fish and oh my! Morning coffee on your fabulous deck overlooking the inlet is probably one of the things I personally miss most. We have all agreed that this was one of our very best vacations ever, right up there with our once in a lifetime adventure at a villa in Tuscany!
Thank you again for making it all possible!
PS One of our party is very interested in purchasing 2 of the items of pottery in the kitchen, a couple of rectangular serving dishes, I think. How should she go about that?
Patty T from New Haven, CT, who vacationed in August 2010.
Hi Mr & Mrs Lee,
Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in your wonderful Wellfleet
home. We enjoyed every minute of our 2 week vacation. Your home is a
perfect rental for 2 families or a large group....so close to the gorgeous
beaches of Wellfleet, MA!!!! We spent most of our time on the beach with our
friends playing in the sand or swimming in the surf...or watching the Sea
Lions playing so close! We really loved the beach fires at night making smores
fascinated by the thousands of stars lighting up the sky!!! We had a nice
"break" from life- thank you!
Shannon A from Toms River, NJ, who vacationed in July 2010.
We had a fabulous time. We enjoyed your house very much, and thank you for
accommodating our last minute reservation. ..... we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Elaine L from Succasunna, NJ, who vacationed in July 2009.
All is well here.... eating too much lobster and fish... sailing, beach.... all is
well....The house is great, we have enjoyed our stay...
thanks... maybe we'll see you next year...
ps... some of the pottery is very nice, where can we buy some... are you the
artist???
Mike Y from Philadelphia, PA, who vacationed in July 2009.
