An amazing place to start your memories of Cape Cod for years to come… This “Four Square” 1910 vintage Woods Hole home has been renovated with fresh paint, gleaming hardwood floors, new stainless steel appliance and granite counter top in the kitchen. All bathrooms have been completely redone with new fixtures, one has a claw tub! The style is comfortable contemporary with furnishings from Pottery Barn, fixtures from Restoration Hardware and linens from Ralph Lauren.
This Fall (2007)we upgraded from internet to wireless internet, and we have completed the backyard garden with tulips, daffodils, crocus, Montauk daisies, Russian sage and daylilies. There should be blooming plants and flowers all year long!

There are two sundecks and a two car garage with parking for two additional cars in the driveway.The house is situated in the seaside village of Woods Hole. It has a beach a block away and is within walking distance to everything! – The village (restaurants, market, bars) the Steamship Authority (ferry to Martha’s Vineyard), the Aquarium, Children’s Park (Taft’s Playground), the Catholic Church and meditation garden,the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute (WHOI).
Woods Hole is the starting line for the world famous Falmouth Road Race every August and home to an International film festival in July.
Massachusetts may approve a rental tax up to 11% for vacation rentals, which would be in addition to the advertised rate. |
