Share drinks on the side porch and contemplate Eel Pond or watch the world go by. The kitchen has a new gas stove and fridge, but retains its old fashioned antique feel. The wood trim is dark and warm and the decor colorful and amusing. (This is a house with a soul. As the owners renovate, every effort is made to retain the original architectural features.)
The house is amazingly accessible to Logan Airport: The Woods Hole bus picks you up at your airport terminal and delivers you to Woods Hole within 2 hours; you walk 10 minutes and then you are ''home''! In the summer, a trolley shuttle bus takes you to Falmouth and other destinations.
Your house will be fully equipped with linens, proper cooking equipment, children's books, some toys, BBQ-grill, outdoor table and chairs. Washer and dryer in basement. Television is not set up. Lots of books and games. Exceptional children's playground (including baseball field and tennis) 5 minutes down the street. |
