This house is in the exclusive Shimmo district of the island mid-way between Mononmoy and Polpis, a short drive to town. The feeling from the spacious deck is one of being away from the hustle & bustle of town but also with a full view of the busy harbor and all its activity, with the colorful boats coming and going from the island.
The layout of the five bedrooms is conducive to multi-generational occupancy for a rich and rewarding family vacation. One bedroom (of the two not pictured below) has a bunk bed, perfect for kids, the other twin beds with the house TV (which can be moved to any other bedroom; all are wired for cable). All three bathrooms have just been renovated, each with a tub and shower. Fully equipped kitchen includes Cuisinart and other gourmet amenities.
In short, ''Sweep Out'' affords a perfect place to get away from it all while still staying in touch with the beauty and festive activity that is Nantucket.
