Architect designed and landscaped 5 bedroom waterfront home on 7 acres with 400' frontage on Tiah's Cove. Our home is one of 24 to be featured in ''The Houses of Martha's Vineyard.''
Set among pine trees at the end of a 3/4 mile well-maintained dirt road, the house affords a lovely view of Tiah's Cove, which is one of numerous coves of Tisbury Great Pond. The barrier ocean beach is easily accessed by boat from our dock or by car using our Quansoo beach key which is included in the rental.
Enjoy tennis on our private tennis court with shaded deck for viewers or for relaxing between points.
The house has numerous balconies, porches and decks making for easy outdoor entertaining as well as a furnished screened gazebo and hottub.

Tisbury Great Pond is brackish (combination fresh and salt water) with an abundance of shell fish. Several times a year a cut is made between the ocean and pond which has the effect of lowering the water mark of the pond, thereby creating a beach around the perimeter of the pond which slowly fills in. When this happens we have ''beachfront property.''
Inside, the house has 2 levels. On the first floor there is a great room (comprising the kitchen, dining area and living room with fireplace and satellite TV) and a large bedroom with ensuite bathroom. There is also a half-bath on this level. Upstairs, there is a family room with additional fireplace and TV. Also, the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and 3 additional bedrooms and 2 additional bathrooms. Laundry facilities and large linen closet are upstairs as well.
This is an idyllic, private spot away from the crowds yet centrally located making it easily to explore the wonders of Martha's Vineyard and the charm of its towns. |
