Often used as writer's retreat, expandable if required to house 10, this idyllic 4/5 bedroom home is within 7 minutes walk, on wooded path and sand road, to fresh water ponds, and 10/12 minute walk to limited access ocean beach. The Herring River is at the bottom of the garden. The house is 1/2 mile from Route 6 and 2 miles to Wellfleet Center. On 4 1/2 acres in the National Sea Shore with no immediate neighbors. There are two separate buildings that can be used as studios or outlying sleeping quarters. (N.B. Internet acess is supposed to be with us by summer '08 -- please enquire.)
