This Nantucket Cape home, located adjacent to the Miacomet Golf Club and less than a mile from the ocean, has 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths in the main house and an attached studio apartment with kitchenette and full bath.
A diving board and staircase with railing gives everyone entrance to the private 40-foot pool. Beyond the enclosed pool area, which is furnished with tables, chairs and chaise, lawn areas provide space for lawn games and relaxation. And… an outside shower... is the best!
The Great Room, a spacious living/family room with cathedral ceiling and loft, is suited for large gatherings to enjoy surround sound music or entertainment on a 50” HDTV with internet/cable access.
Decks off either side of the living room offer sun and shade for different times of the day. On the south facing side, the gas grill and deck furniture provides a great spot for lunch and a nap in the chaise, or a gathering place to enjoys sunsets and the prevailing breeze after dinner.

The deck on the north facing side with its bistro table and chairs offers shade during the day. It’s great place for morning coffee! Benches on both decks provide extensive seating for guests.
The kitchen has a gas stove with a conventional/convection oven and an additional conventional/microwave oven. This modern kitchen with an island provides a place for a quick breakfast or a gathering place for guests before dinner. Adjacent is the dining room with a dining table for eight. Both the dining room and living room have charming gas-fired wood stoves that provide a quick and cozy warmth and ambiance on a cool evening.
The floor plan allows for a unique separation of bedrooms, providing an opportunity for two families or in-laws to have privacy. Off the hallway to the north there is a full bath and three bedrooms: the Master bedroom with a queen bed and its own private bath, the Rose Room with one twin bed, and the Daffodil Room with a queen bed.
To the east, off the Great Room, two bedrooms share a full bath. The Captain’s Room has a queen bed with a sliding glass door onto the south facing deck. The other has two twin beds with a separate door leading to the north facing deck.
Perhaps one of the most unique aspects of this property is the attached studio apartment with a full bed, an efficiency kitchen, and full bath. This not only allows additional guests or an au pair a space that is convenient, but also, gives privacy for the family. And it has ocean views!
This uniquely situated and appointed property offers an array of amenities and access to summer fun. While the pool is fully maintained for your use, the ocean is less than a mile away. Walk, bike, or drive to the beach. While the south shore beach stretches for miles and has several beach accesses, Miacomet pond and Miacomet Beach have a lifeguard.
The Miacomet Golf Club, a five-minute walk from your door to the first tee, is the only 18-hole course on the island available to the public.
Because the fields of Bartlett Farm, the properties of the Nantucket Land Bank, and the Miacomet Golf Club, surround this area, the natural beauty of its setting is preserved.
Not everyone in the family needs a car because, NRTA, the Nantucket Transit Authority mini-busses have a stop 500 yards from the house. This service links all parts of the island.
A walk or bike ride away is Bartlett Farm with their extraordinary fresh vegetables and foods, a great fish market (they sell meats too!), and the Cisco Winery and Brewery … a fun destination for buying and tasting!
