Ideal for families! Very unique and private main house with cottage (main house also separately listed as #4911 - see listing for additional photos), built by island craftsman and owner, on 2.8 acres wooded lot, close to Nantucket's best southernfacing beaches (20 minute walk). The property is located between Surfside and Nobadeer in a quiet residential neighborhood. You can hear the surf with a southwest wind (just about all summer!). Both houses offer comfortable indoor and outdoor living space, each with its own private back yard and outdoor showers. Both are fenced in to secure the safety of children and/or family pet. Lots of interesting woodwork and special touches give each home a very warm and cozy feeling. Main house sleeps maximum of 9, and the cottage sleeps 5. There is parking for 2 large (or 3 small vehicles) at main house, and for 2 cars at the cottage. The houses are well placed on the lot - providing the utmost in privacy from each other as well as from neighbors.
