Woods Hole Info
This home was built in the 1930s, and expanded and refurbished in 1997. It includes a very large living room (about 27 X 17), a dining room/sun porch, a modern country kitchen, a screened-in porch, a deck and an outdoor shower. There are also five bedrooms (4 upstairs, 1 downstairs), 3 skylights, a working fireplace.
The house sits on an acre in Woods Hole Village in what is known as the Gansett area. It shares a beautiful private beach with perhaps thirty other families, less than a five minute walk from the house. The shops on Woods Hole's main street are ten to fifteen minutes away by foot.
Woods Hole itself sits on the southwestern tip of Cape Cod, surrounded in three directions by water and beaches, and dotted with ponds. It has maintained its historic character, and offers many activities in the summer.
There is a generally a two-week minimum on rentals, but we will consider shorter periods to fill gaps as the calendar fills in.
