The owners have meticulously updated the home as represented in the pictures. It is extremely clean and very well maintained. The flow of the home was great for our family as nine of us lived and slept very compfortably. Most importantly, we went away with the wish to relax and unwind on the Cape and yet still be close enough to the beach and other Cape attractions. The home fit the bill for us on all counts. We spent the day on Nantucket and were 15-20 minutes from the ferry in Hyannis. We were 10-15 minutes from two very nice Barnstable town beaches, and we were 20 minutes from the Cape Cod Canal and the Sandwich boardwalk - one of our favorite spots. It is a very short drive into the quaint Cotuit town center, which we loved. In the mornings and evenings we enjoyed the home and its impeccably maintained grounds including a huge front yard for the kids to play in, a vegetable garden, numerous fruit trees, wonderful plantings and privacy and quiet that the acreage provided. The master bedroom was fabulous with a beautiful king bed and a huge flat screen television on the wall. We found all the bedrooms to be comfortable. The view of the pond from the living room is pretty and the room is very comfortable and attractively decorated. The kitchen is fully funtional, comfortable and attractively decorated. We found the owners to be considerate and very generous. In summary, we would definitely return to this wonderful home and would recommend it highly. The Welch Family Cleveland, Ohio"

"WOW! What a magnificent property. This was my first time staying in the Cape, and I must say that it was a heck of a way to start. I went out there with a group of 6 (one child included), and we had some other relatives meet us out there a few days later. Everyone loved this house. I cannot even begin to describe how beautiful a property it was. When we first pulled up to the driveway, which must have been over 100 yards, we were amazed at the size of the land around it. Once we passed the tree-lined driveway, you will be in awe of the landscaping. There must have been enough grassy area in front of the house to build a baseball field. Too bad I was with a bunch of non-athletes! It was amazing. We found out later on that the house was surrounded by over six acres of land. I'm from NYC, and it was such a surreal experience to have all that land for ourselves. The back of the house had a path that led to a lake and dock, there was a wonderful outdoor seating area that we used every day for lunch and dinner, and that does not even mention the inside of the house. These pictures do not begin to describe how fabulous this house is. The house is impecable inside and out, and comfortably housed us (with plenty of room to spare) for one week. Usually by that time it gets a bit too close for comfort, but this house had ample space to hide from others. Even the laundry room was spacious. My family has stayed at many different rentals up and down the east coast, and this is by far the best of them all, especially considering the price! You will not find a property this beautiful at the price it is offered. So when summer comes around, or even winter if it suits you better, you must come stay here. You will not regret it!"
