This Cape-style cottage is close to Little Harbor. Trees provide shade and privacy; yet there is an open and airy feeling with wonderful light throughout. Throw open the seemingly endless windows and doors, or turn on the central air if that's your preference. An easy walk to everything Woods Hole offers: beaches (including Nobska, with its beautiful light house), shops, restaurants, labs, ferry docks, bike path, tennis, playground. The house is well-appointed, with a clean, uncluttered look, and is in excellent condition. Enjoy tiled baths, hard wood floors, bright colors, and fresh white barn-board paneling, for a real Cape-Cod feel. The master suite is spacious and serene. Another queen bedroom is on the lower level (above-ground, maple floor, very sunny) with its own bath, TV and optional separate entry -- perfect for a nanny or in-law suite. The enclosed outdoor shower is well-situated for easy returns from the beach.

Take advantage of some nice extras, like books, beach towels, pack n' play, high chair, toys and games, safety gate and outlet covers. Numerous outdoor spots, including a stone terrace and a large deck. Use our beach chairs, and store your bikes in our shed. We love our house and hope you will too! We will consider a responsible winter tenant: it's a great house in which to spend a glorious fall, cozy winter and serene spring.

The house is very comfortable, very well appointed, very clean. Love the colors! It is very suitable for a family vacation. I enjoyed the walks to Woods Hole to meet friends for breakfast. Walking along the bike path is a pleasure. I am looking forward to another stay during the warm weather.

We traveled from California to rent this house sight unseen for a full winter season (September-June 2004-2005). We loved it so much we returned for a second winter (2005-2006)and are hoping to do so again this coming year (2009-10). The location is wonderful. Woods Hole and Falmouth have so much going on, and this is a great spot from which to explore all of New England. The experience was made all the better by the easy and pleasant dealings with the owners.
