This historic house was built in 1852, but the 2700 square foot addition makes this an incredibly comfortable retreat with many modern luxuries like radiant heated bathroom and shower, central AC throughout, dual fuel 6 burner stove, multi-room sound system, walk-in closets, etc. Relax on the wrap-around porch, private balcony, or bluestone patio amidst the gardens. Less than a 10 minute walk to the 1856 penny candy store, playground, library, the famous 4 Seas Ice Cream and many other delightful shops. Just one mile from Craigville Beach, 8 minute drive to downtown Hyannis and Cape Cod's comercial hub. High speed wireless internet and office space for those unable to completly retreat. The first floor master suit has a private balcony overlooking the woods and small pond while the second floor bedrooms have their own sitting area and ''book nook.'' Bookings for various activities are available through the owners.
