This house is called ''Canopache'' which is Wampanoug Indian for ''place of peace.'' It is a new 2600 square foot home, completed in October of 2003. You can hear the sound of the surf from this upside down house on 3 acres with cathedral ceilings, tons of sunlight, sea breezes and sweeping ocean views. Warm, light, open, airy and peaceful describe this inviting getaway.
Top floor has an open floor plan, fireplace and cathedral ceilings in the living room and dining room; master suite with cathedral ceiling and balcony; and kitchen which has corian counters, maple butcher block island with Italian glass pendants. Living room opens up to a large deck with 180 degree ocean views. First floor has a large entryway, 3 bedrooms, den with a daybed and terrace doors that open to the second deck,and a separate laundry room.
Outdoors there is a large private yard with hydrangeas, gardens, stone walkway and patio, 2 furnished decks, and a great outdoor shower.
