About “Come Feast and Be Merrie” - A Medieval Winter Solstice Celebration...Wassail, the legendary drink originally consumed at medieval celebrations to wish others “good health”, will be served along with much holiday revelry at the Come Feast and Be Merrie medieval festival being held at Sandwich Town Hall Saturday, December 3rd.

The two-hour “interactive medieval variety show” promises an evening of holiday jollification with a welcoming introduction and grand procession followed by a night of music, skits and intermittent caroling with the audience.

The merriment features 30 costumed cast members performing madrigals and short plays with a feast to be enjoyed during intermission. Guests are invited to bring their own feast or purchase one online for $8.50 when ordering tickets. The menu is provided by Café Chew. Wassail and dessert will be provided by Sandwich Arts Alliance.
