About Family Fun Friday...Enjoy a family-friendly day at Heritage featuring special activities to help you rediscover the joy of being outside together. A musical performance at the Outdoor Concert Stage at 11 am, lawn games and crafts, and a chance to explore the Secret Shelters and take a ride on the vintage Looff Carousel make this a great start to the weekend. Bring a picnic!

July 17 – Toe Jam Puppet Band: “The Bug Show”

Formed in 2000, the Toe Jam Puppet Band offers a special brand of hands-on children’s entertainment that grown-ups love, too.



July 24 – Wayne Potash and the Music Fun Band

Wayne Potash and his five-piece band perform shows that feature sing-a-longs, dancing, jumping, games, and audience requests.



July 31 – Zak Morgan

GRAMMY nominee Zak Morgan's unique brand of children's music delivers songs and poems with wit and charm that inspire and tickle the funny bones of children and adults alike.


August 7 – Keith Munslow

An award-winning performer who combines music, storytelling, visual art, and improvisation, Keith Munslow has entertained thousands of children and adults at festivals, concerts, schools, and libraries.



August 14 – The Airborne Comedians

Dan Foley and Joel Harris are The Airborne Comedians. An act that began 20 years ago as a snowball juggling contest in a laundromat has now escalated to riding six- and seven-foot-high unicycles and lawn-chair juggling.



August 21 – Ben Rudnick and Friends

Ben Rudnick and Friends have been bringing families, music, and fun together in their own unique style since 2000. Their enthusiastic recordings and live performances seamlessly range from light folk and bluegrass to calypso, rock, and even Irish jigs.



August 28 – Karen K and the Jitterbugs

Bug out with Karen K in her imaginary backyard fort, where she makes music with her friends, the Jitterbugs!



September 4- Toe Jam Puppet Band: “Toe Jam in Outer Space”

Formed in 2000, the Toe Jam Puppet Band offers a special brand of hands-on children’s entertainment that grown-ups enjoy, too. “Toe Jam In Outer Space!” will have you blasting off with the band as they play songs from their new CD. Free with museum admission.
