About The Hundred Acre School at Heritage Museums and Gardens Open House...The Hundred Acre School, opening September 2 at Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich, will host several Open Houses for parents and caregivers in April and May. Those who participate in the April 30th open house will receive free tickets to Heritage for the day.
The open houses will provide an opportunity to meet the director, discuss the available programs at the school and register for the upcoming 2014-2015 school year.
The Hundred Acre School will engage preschoolers in active learning and preparation for success in school using Heritage’s collections, facilities, and grounds. Their vision is to teach the whole child, emphasizing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) as a springboard to multidisciplinary learning.
