Starbright, is a three bedroom, two bath, professionally decorated and furnished, nearly new home. This is a large home with easy to clean tile floors, except for the bedrooms which are carpeted. There are five ceiling fans with remote controls, a TV in master and guest bedrooms, and living room, plus CD, tape and stereo player. It is comfortably furnished and has a recliner for the man of the house. The kitchen is completely equipped, including toaster oven, fish fryer and dinner service for 12, along with more than adequate silverware (stainless steel).

The master bedroom has king-size bed, guest bedroom a queen-size bed, and sofa bed is queen-size The third bedroom has a full size on bottom and a twin on top. The master bath is divided and has large closet opposite the vanity. All the linens are furnished. We have paved parking underneath the house with space for four vehicles and there is an outdoor shower near a stairway leading up to a large bath with shower.

We do not have a block on the phone; therefore, you are free to use it. Local calls are free but there is a charge of .25 to some of the outlying towns, such as Panama City, etc. LD calls are at the owner’s rate which is about .04 per minute at this time. Any charges incurred, plus tax, will be withheld from the deposit.

Cape San Blas is a narrow strip of land jutting out into the Gulf and separating the Gulf and St Joseph’s Bay. The beach along the Cape was voted No. 1 in the United States by Dr. Beach (Mr. Letterman) in 2002.

Cape Dunes is a quiet, secluded area with no high-rises and 'bright lights'. Our home is on a narrow strip of land with a view of the Gulf from one deck and a view of St Joseph’s Bay from the other deck. Two boardwalks, a few yards away, lead over the dunes to the beach.

We have one restaurant just a short distance away, but no bars and night spots. St Joseph’s Bay Country Club, which is semi-private, is five miles away, and very accessible. The country club has informal dining and full bar. The fishing in the area is excellent; one can, also, surf and snorkel.

For shopping, Port St Joe is less than ten miles away and Appalachicola is 23 miles. There are grocery stores both towns, along with drug stores, and other smaller stores, specialty shops and restaurants.
