This tip-lot home is at the end of a cul-de-sac facing Landmark Bay, one of the most sought-after wide-water views on Marco Island. The home is designed for indoor-outdoor living, with sliding glass doors from three different rooms leading to a large, screened lanai and heated pool.

A public entrance to the Gulf beach is a 5-minute walk from our home. South Marco Beach and Tigertail Beach, outstanding for bathing, birding and shelling, are about 10-minute drives from the house. Rookery Bay bird sanctuary is a short drive up Rt. 951. For golfers, there are several signature courses close by.
For those who like to fish, Landmark Bay is called Tarpon Bay because it shelters baby tarpon year-round. It is not unusual to occasionally see four- and five-foot tarpon splashing about just off the patio dock.
Landmark Bay also hosts a variety of small fish (snapper, sheepshead porgies, cravalle jacks, ...

ladyfish) and an occasional snook coming to hook. Also, dolphins cruise through the bay on a regular basis, popping to the surface in their acrobatic display. You can fish right from our patio dock. Several fishing rods are available on the lanai.
In addition, there is much bird life on the bay, including many pelicans, herons, egrets, ibis, spoonbills and, of course, seagulls. On occasion, you might spot an eagle, osprey, hawk or owl. There also are colonies of burrowing owls on Marco Island.
The single-story home has a 165-foot seawall with a 20x18-foot patio dock jutting into the bay. There is an attractive step-down living room for entertaining, a full, formal dining room and family room with parquet wood floors throughout (except for the bedrooms, which are carpeted).
For entertainment, there is a 46-inch Sony Bravia HDTV and a Sony Blu-ray player. There also is a Comcast DVR that allows archiving of current Comcast TV programs and movies for later viewing.
Secure high-speed internet service is provided throughout the property.
Most of your time probably will be spent outdoors on the screened lanai, which is furnished with a glass-top dining table and chairs and a breakfast bar, which can be served directly from the kitchen. On the lanai is a wicker set with a love seat, lounge and chair, a good place to read a book and/or watch the children while they are in the pool.
For those who love the sun, the patio dock will be the draw while at home. There are several chaise lounges on the lanai that can be moved easily to the dock. And fishing from the dock, ahhhh!
OUR FAMILY VACATION TO PLUM COURT WAS EXCEPTIONAL. ALL THE PHOTOS LISTED IN THE PROPERTY DESCRIPTION DID NOT DO THIS HOME JUSTICE. THE HOME WAS CLEAN, PLENTY OF LINENS, DISHWARE, AND SPACE FOR A FAMILY OF 4. THE HEATED POOL WAS GREAT. OUR KIDS REALLY ENJOYED THE POOL. MY SON AND HUSBAND FISHED EVERYDAY OFF OF THE DOCK AND CAUGHT NUMEROUS VARITIES OF FISH. THEY HAD A FANTASTIC TIME FISHING!!! WE SAW DOLPHINS THE FIRST DAY WE ARRIVED AND MANY JELLYFISH OFF THE DOCK. WE ALSO SAW A HUGE MANTA RAY JUMP FROM THE WATER!!! WE DID NOT GO TO THE BEACH OFTEN AS THE KIDS PREFERRED TO STAY AT THE HOME. THE ISLAND IS BEAUTIFUL! MANY PALM TREES AND WATERWAYS. WE USED THE BBQ GRILL ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS WITHOUT ANY DIFFICULTY. THE OWNER WAS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH AND ANSWERED OUR QUESTIONS WITHOUT HESITATION. OUR SECURITY DEPOSIT WAS RETURNED WITHIN 1 WEEK AFTER OUR DEPARTURE. I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND RENTING THIS HOME AND WE WIILL RENT AGAIN HOPEFULLY THIS UPCOMING FALL SEASON!!! THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO RENT YOUR BEAUTIFUL HOME ON MARCO ISLAND

After our visit to Walt Disney, we made a one-week stay in Marco Island. We were not disappointed! The house is located about 10 minutes from the beach, which is beautiful in passing. It is very wide, with a sea relatively quiet, which is perfect for young children. The house is fine, we were 4 adults, 2 children and a baby, and there was enough space for all. Everything was very clean when we arrived and as described on the form. The house is well lit, well equipped and has a beautiful swimming pool that was enjoyed by all. We also benefited from the canal at the back of the house, where we have seen the passage of dolphins during a day. The owner was always very quick to respond to our emails and questions. It has also provided a high chair and a park for the baby following a request which we have done. Therefore I strongly recommend this house again if you need to spend a few days in a quiet and close to services in Marco Island.

Our first stay at this property. We were not disappointed! Was concerned that we would not be beach front, but it certainly did not make a differance. Two of our grandsons (ages 16 and 11) went with us and they did not enjoy the beach, they wanted to stay in the pool at the house. John was the most prompt and helpful person we have ever worked with on VRBO. The house was perfect and everything was clean, well furnished, and just like home. The weather was in the 90's everyday, but the breezes were so good that we stayed on the lanai most of the days. We would highly recommend this property.

Just returned from our third annual visit to this wonderful Marco Island home. Everything we need is provided. Love the pass-thru window from the kitchen to the lanai, where we spend most of our time. The pool's great for my granddaughter & the fishing dock's my son's favorite place to be. The beds are comfortable; the family room, master bedroom & dining room all have great water views & access to the lanai. Dolphins are frequent visitors, as well as many varieties of birds. We usually go out to eat at lunchtime when prices are lower & often bring enough leftovers home for dinner. We love the Sand Bar's food & games, as well as the Little Bar and Cocomo's. We visit the Naples Zoo every year, about a 30-minute drive. The owner is very good to deal with; the house is even better than advertised & we'd love to stay longer; we feel right at home there. Already looking forward to next year's visit.

Great thing's about your house I have selfishly kept to myself: My daughter running on the sea-wall, chasing dolphins as they swim under your dock.(she's a little old for this now!) Watching manatees swim by your dock. Seeing and catching goliath grouper from your dock.( I have pictures) Seeing the biggest snook I've ever seen in the wild under your dock.(4-footer, this year) Great sunrises. Best view while doing dishes. Great light show's while night fishing from your dock.(lightning and meteors,we have a video of a meteor from this year) Sharing a beer with my son for the first time, on your dock. Kinda redneck, but the girls had gone to bed and it was just the two of us fishing, with an awesome star-filled sky.(great memory for me) Watching and hearing the tarpon constantly surface to gulp air.( I have yet to figure out how to hook one) I could go on and on.

"We spent Christmas eve-New Years Day 2010 in this lovely home. The home is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed fishing on the dock and watching the dolphins swim by. Grilling dinners right on the lanai and having coffee in the lounge chairs was so relaxing. The short walk to the beach and the beautiful sunsets were the perfect way to forget about the New England weather back home. We hope to return again. The Joyals, Northborough, Massachusetts"

Althought the weather was cool we enjoyed our stay at the house. The views are great and the location is very close to the beach. The kitchen is a dream to use while enjoying the bay view. Everything is well kept. The owner and his local contacts were easy to work with. We would recommend this property to others.

My husband & I enjoyed a wonderful stay from 09.04-09.11.10. We had an extremely relaxing holiday, the location is very quiet and peaceful...just what we were looking for on this trip. We found this home to be very clean and well equipped for a great holiday. We loved the layout, offering three separate walk outs to the screened pool area, along with great open water views (whether you're inside or out). I really loved the large corner windows above the kitchen sink, what a view!. It was difficult to leave the the pool area for our planned activities, I would have been quite happy just staying in the private pool area every day. The outdoor living area offers a perfect blend of sun and shade. The dock area is quite entertaining, we had a great time "fish watching". We saw a wide variety of fish, several dolphins, a manatee & one very large turtle. We've never seen so many fish! We did the 3 hour dolphin tour through Sea Excursions located at the marina...this included a visit to a secluded beach. We would highly recommend this tour. We also spent a couple of days at South Beach, just a 5 minute drive from the house. We made use of the beach chairs, cooler & umbrella found in the laundry room. The owners also have a good supply of beach towels available for guests. We had everything we needed for a perfect day at the beach. We enjoyed our lunches at Snook's Inn and the Sunshine Grill. Although we normally go out for dinners on vacation, we actually opted to "stay in" on this one. We made good use of the BBQ, kitchen amenities and home delivery service! This is a truly charming home, situated in a very peaceful location on Marco Island. We're already considering a return trip for next year. Don't hesitate to rent this one!

Again, we enjoyed our stay very much. The upgrades in the kitchen and master bath are very nice and the new TV and Blu-ray player in the family room are great! My 6-year-old granddaughter caught her 1st and 2nd fish from the dock and practically lived in the pool. See you next year!
Alice H from Weston, FL, who vacationed in June 2010.
Marc and I wanted you to know how much we loved your home and our vacation in Marco Island. It was so nice to sit out by the pool and watch the Dolphins and Tarpon swim by! We could have stayed there forever. The floorplan is perfect and we couldn't imagine a more peaceful and relaxing vacation. Our relatives visted us right before we left and said "they totally understood why we didn't feel a need to go to the beach"!
Thanks again for the opportunity to rent your home. We would be happy to recommend it to anyone.

"We loved our stay at your Marco Island home. Saw dolphins playing most days and my son loved fishing from the dock. We'll be back next year for sure."

''I just wanted to thank you for the use of your home during our vacation in Marco Island. I do believe this was the first time that a rental I've booked using the Weneedavacation.com web site was everything listed and more! My husband and I had a very relaxing time there and even got to see a dolphin swim right under your dock while we were standing there! How cool was that!''
Carole H from Gibsonia, PA, who vacationed in March 2009.
This was the perfect family escape from the midwestern cold of winter. We truly enjoyed this home and all the wonderful furnishings. Coffee on the screened in lanai as the dolphins swim by - what more do you want! It's a quick walk to the beach for the wonderful sunsets. Very cordial people to book with; we'll be back. The Thomas'
