Getting your videos onto your web page

This page assumes you have created one or more videos and want to put them onto your web page.

Choose one of three ways to add video to your listing:

1. Upload video yourself via Video Central from your Homeowner Center page.
   • In the Homeowner Center, click on the link called "Video Central."
   • Follow directions for uploading video files from your computer.
   • We accept .avi, .vod, .mov (Quicktime), .mpeg2, .mpeg4, .wmv, and .wm file types.
2. Send video as email attachment. Please note, video files are very large, so only very short videos can be emailed. Longer videos must be uploaded or mailed to us (see below).
   • If you are able, attach your video to an email and send it to videos@weneedavacation.com. Send one video per email due to the size of the file. Be sure to clearly identify what picture your video belongs to.
   • Not familiar with attaching files to email? While composing a new email, look on your toolbar for an option called "insert." Click on this and then select "file" from the dropdown menu. (Some operating systems may have an "attachment" button on the toolbar. If so, simply click on it.) Your computer file directory will open, which will allow you to find the location of your pictures and select the file(s) you want to send.
   • Be sure to identify your Property ID in the subject of all emails you send.
3. Send video to us via U.S. Mail
   • Video must be copied onto a CD, DVD, or USB flash drive. We cannot accept various video camera type media.
   • Mail the video to us at:

   • Be sure to include your name, Property ID, and what picture each video belongs to.
   • Send a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like the video returned.

We will review the video for quality, determine the length, and therefore the cost. We will let you know if the video is:

• Acceptable as is.
• Acceptable with minor editing.
• Needs to be reworked by you (we'll make suggestions).
• Not acceptable for specific reasons.

Once the video is accepted, we will email you an invoice based on the length of the video. After we receive payment, we will post your video to your listing.
