What a great location. This house is near Edgartown, Oak Bluffs and Vineyard haven also close to State and South beaches. The area is quiet and it is right by the main road running east to west. The bike bath is also nearby.

The house is great. LOVE the screened in deck!! The only drawback is there is no yard, so if you have little kids, they have nowhere outside to play. If we decide to come back to the island, we would rent this house again.

Just spent a long weekend at the "Finnyard" with my girlfriends to celebrate a milestone birthday! This home is clean, well taken care of and is in a great location. We had a car which made exploring the island easy. We had bikes delivered right to us at the home. The bike path is nearby and made a fun trip to Katama Beach. The owner has a book with a bit of the history of the ownership of the home and gives many ideas of things to do and great recommendations for places to eat. Some of the photographs hung on the wall are taken by the owner of spots around the island. I would recommend this home to friends and family. Had the pleasure of staying at the "Finnyard" for a short end-of-the-summer getaway. The house exceeded my expectations. The screen porch and outside shower are perfect, the inside gives you a feeling of "home" during your vacation stay, which added to my much needed relaxation. The house is clean, kitchen is well equipped, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The location is perfect.. and the owner gives great suggestions of spots to visit which was so helpful for a first time visitor like myself. It was an amazing place and experience overall, and I can't wait to get back to the Finnyard next summer! show more show less

We stayed in the "Finnyard" this year over the 4th of July and had a wonderful time. We particularly liked the screened in porch out back that was fully lighted for playing games outside without getting bitten by bugs. The tennis courts were another great feature that we used every day of our trip. Although the courts are shared by a few homes, we never saw anyone else out playing. The house itself is clean, modern and air conditioned, which made sleeping a lot more comfortable!! We loved the cathedral ceilings in the living room, very spacious and open feeling.

The location is perfect but I would plan to bring a car in order to get out to the beaches and explore the island. Being just outside of Edgartown provides great access to restaurants and shopping. The owner is extremely professional and the rental process was easy. Overall great experience, I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a great value in Edgartown!!!
