My extended family and I rented this home for the 3rd time and we had a wonderful vacation. We've never had a communication issue with Wendy and we look forward to renting again next summer!

This is a great place to stay. Our family fit so comfortably here. The house is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots & pans, etc.

The house is very conveniently located. The kids liked the quick walk to the library.

We loved the outdoor space. There's a large deck with space to eat and lots of extra seating. Everyone's favorite thing was the ski lift swing in the back yard.

Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had a great time staying at Wendy and Bob's in June. We were the first guests to stay since the Covid outbreak. We were impressed with the lengths Wendy and Bob went to to make sure the house was safe and clean for guests. (Hand sanitizer at front door, a cleaning log, a Guest List of the visitors to the house). There was plenty of space, a great deck out back and a huge lawn which was perfect for social distancing! Also, the week we went was very hot and we were pleased to see there were many extra fans for the bedrooms. Great location, we walked more than we drove. We are looking forward to returning!

My family and I rented Wendy"s house and it was lovely. There were 4 adults and a child and we had plenty of space. The location is perfect, it's walking distance to Circuit Ave and there's a bus stop a few feet away. The backyard is huge and the house is fully stocked with all the amenities you'd need. Wendy was extremely responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend this home and would love to stay again.

We've rented this house in July 2017 and August 2018. We look forward to renting it again in 2019! Wendy is exceptional. She is the best host we've dealt with in the 20+ years of vacationing on the island. We loved the proximity to town, the huge backyard, the cleanliness upon arrival and the giant swing!

We had such a great family vacation in this home! The house was extremely clean when we arrived and had everything we needed for a great week! There was plenty of outdoor seating on the deck and in the backyard. Lots of room for dinners outside and lawn games! Being big skiers too we loved the chair lift swing! Plenty of parking made it easy as we bring our cars over. There were also plenty of fans and towels, pillows, blankets, etc. It was really nice to not have to bring linens. The outdoor shower was private and clean. The owners were super responsive and helpful and responded quickly. The location was great and was a quick walk to town. We had a range of ages with us and everyone was comfortable and enjoyed the house!

What an awesome home for our family vacation. It was so convenient for a quick walk to town. Absolutely beautiful outdoor space for family dinners and just enjoying the day. Close to town so the kids were able to walk back and forth. Everything was exactly as advertised. The kitchen was completely stocked with every amenity needed. It was so convenient that linens were included. We spent two awesome weeks here and would definitely return. Great owners that were very responsive. All around positive experience!!

What an amazing location! Just a few minute walk to downtown; food, shops, and entertainment and the ferry. The house is very clean, the kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and prep tools. The back deck and yard are great as well! I stayed here with four friends for my 30th birthday, and we absolutely loved it. Wendy is super responsive and easy to get in contact with. Would definitely be staying at this house again!

I rented this house for my sisters bachelorette party. We could not have had a better time. Wendy and Bob were great hosts, and their house is lovely. About a 0.5 mi walk to the ferry that takes you from Falmouth out to MV. The house was very clean when we arrived, and Wendy even had a bottle of champagne there for the special event (so sweet!) The backyard is amazing, beautiful grass, large deck, great for entertaining. I think the only time we were in the house was to actually sleep; the backyard is perfect. Overall a wonderful place for vacation and we are definitely planning on going back next summer for a friends reunion!!! Thank you, Wendy and Bob, for lending us your beautiful home!

I have nothing but positives to say! The yard is beautiful and safe for kids even though the house is on a main road (pretty enclosed), much bigger on the inside than it appears from the outside with adorable decor and very clean! One of the few that provide linens and towels, close proximity with a convenience store across the street with good coffee...can't go wrong!

Coming from someone who has rented from others on MV, Wendy is so sweet, responsive, and accommodating :)

We rented this house for the week that all the events happen in Oaks Bluff (fireworks, illumination). Walking into the backyard and seeing all the room, swings, big back porch and hammock was great. We spent hours out there every day. The house is very clean and has plenty of room for everyone. The owners provide the sheets and towels which is a huge bonus. The kitchen is incredibly stocked - you will find everything you need and more. We have been coming over for 20 years and this was the best stocked kitchen by far. The outdoors shower is fantastic. One of the bonuses about this house is that it is an "on demand" hot water heater - we could all come home at the end of the day from the beach, all take showers one right after the other and never have to worry about running out of hot water.

The location was fabulous - we could bike downtown in two minutes and walk there in five. It was great for the busy nights of fireworks and illumination. What a treat to load the cart and wheel it down for the events. No traffic and no backups. We also went down many nights to have an ice cream cone, ride the carousal or get some fudge.

We would easily recommend this house for any renter. Wendy was great to deal with - promptly answered your emails and provided the security deposit back without having to ask!

We contacted Bob and Wendy quite last minute for reservation of this fantastic rental. Our party was made up of five adults and a 22 month old and it was perfect! It is clear they have done a tremendous amount of work to this home and it is reflected in the great kitchen, fabulous deck, and cottage-style lower bedrooms.
The back lawn is HUGE and is the perfect place for the kids to play and the adults to sit and take in the smells and sounds of the Vineyard. We walked into town each day - a good location for access to Oak Bluffs. The deck was great for breakfast and dinner every day - with bench seating and numerous deck chairs, no one was left out of a seat.
What was nice as well, was the newer towels and linens. So many times these rentals have antiquated linens. The carpets are new and the hardwood floors are clean. Overall, a very nice rental with helpful owners. We will likely be back to this property in the future.

We stayed in this house on very short notice for the weekend of July 4th, 2011 with one adult and five kids. Wendy and Bob were very accommodating and the kids absolutely loved it! It is within walking distance of just about everything and it is very nice inside. We will definitely be trying to come back! Thanks, Wendy and Bob!

We rented this house in June 2011. The house was spotless, comfortable and convenient to the ferries. You can walk to Oak Bluffs, there is a beautiful lawn in the back to play with the kids. We really liked the brand new outdoor shower. There is a nice grille with a table for 6 and chairs on the large deck for cookouts. There is a market close by, and larger grocery stores in Vineyard Haven and Edgartown. We spent a lot of days having breakfast at the Black Dog in Vineyard Haven, then we'd go to Joseph Sylvia State Beach. We'd swim, read, relax and snorkel. 4 or 5 evenings, we brought picnic dinners to Menemsha, on the west side of the island, before sunset. We'd stake out a spot on the beach, with other families, their dogs and kids, and all watch the sunsets. They were spectacular. Everyone would applaud and cheer as the sun dipped below the western horizon. We also loved having breakfast at the Katama Airpark restaurant. You can sit at a table on the deck, and watch gliders, private small planes, and bi-planes taking off and landing. My husband went up in the bi-plane; he said it was the thrill of a lifetime. We walked around Edgartown, went to the Chilmark Chocolate Shop, loved shopping in Alley's General Store in West Tisbury, enjoyed the beautiful views at Gay Head lighthouse. There is good bus service on the island. There are also lots of bike and scooter rental shops. South Beach State Park, on the southern edge of the island, has a fantastic beach with big sand dunes and large waves. We saw lots of surfers having a great time.
We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for us, on the main road from Vineyard Haven to Edgartown. We are going back this June, and counting the days till we go. We have vacationed all over the world, but I honestly think this was my favorite spot. I think we have found the spot we will happily go back to every summer.
