This lovely, seven bedroom, Victorian house is formerly the Ahoma Inn. It is surrounded by gardens and stone walls. The large lawn is perfect for croquet or badminton.
There is a large wrap-around deck with an outdoor dining area. There is a sunroom, covered front porch, recently renovated kitchen, and a large dining/living room area with a wood-burning fireplace. As well as having the usual inside shower and baths, there is an enclosed outdoor shower for nature-lovers. A 200 yard walk leads you to sweeping views from the bluffs overlooking Nantucket Sound. An easy 5 minute walk leads to the town beach, harbour, or East Chop lighthouse. A 10 minute walk takes you to Oak Bluffs for shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and the Vineyard's best wine shop. Your rental includes private access to the pristine Blackpoint Beach in Chilmark. This very scenic area is great for jogging, bike rides, walking, fishing, or boating. Beach equipment included.
