Cedar Tree is a habitat with tumbling streams and freshwater ponds, sandy beaches and rocky cliffs, tall oaks and cool beech groves.

The 2-story, impeccably maintained 3500 square foot home has a flavoring of the original Vineyard. The first floor offers an open living room, an open fully-equipped kitchen, a dining area that seats 6, a full bathroom, and a separate office for quiet privacy. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, including a masters suite. There is also a sitting area/library and full bathroom.

Step out from the kitchen to the open deck in the back of the house with a BBQ grill, a table and chairs. And there is also an open deck in the front of the house, off the living room, with outdoor furniture. This quiet, serene and tranquil location is surrounded by nature. Other amenities include dishwasher, washer/dryer, Internet, and an outdoor shower. A short distance away one can find a grocery and drugstore.

    Most Amazing Home with Hostess from Heaven

    We first want to thank Nancy for her hospitality. She made sure that everything and everyone was perfect. And we were! Home has special touches..large rooms plenty of sunshine everyday. Son was also amazing..sorry I know he makes copper pictures which are gorgeous and elegant. Additionally..thank you for dropping my friends off when we forgot our phone.

    Had a wonderful time. Great house, lots of room, very peaceful, very clean. It had all the beauty of Chilmark -- stone walls, beautiful pond, lovely setting. Stores, bank, drugstore, market, etc. one mile away. Easy to get to all beaches. Great location. Hope to return this fall.

    Nancy, you are a true "A Lister"

    Simply amazing. Stunning property, nestled in the heart of the island. It just so happened the best gourmand grocery store on island, which is Cronig's Market, was just down the road. This lovely house was just completely nestled into the woods "Absolute Solitude". If you enjoy the true feel of Martha's Vineyard; "old winding dirt roads, green pasture with coursing stone walls and the occasional farmers market", this is your slice of heaven. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Nancy. and we are looking forward to coming back in August for my sister's anniversary and the beautiful beach weather. Have a great summer.
