Very unique and private house built by island craftsman and owner on 2.8 acres wooded lot, close to Nantucket's best southernfacing beaches (20 minute walk). The house is located between Surfside and Nobadeer in a quiet residential neighborhood. You can hear the surf with a southwest wind (just about all summer!). Ideal for families. Lots of interesting woodwork and special touches gives the home a very warm and cozy feeling. Parking for 2 large or 3 small vehichles. The house is set 300' deep in the southern end of lot, down a long driveway, and is separated from a cottage by over 200' of trees and natural vegetation. There is a enclosed grassy and wooded back yard which is fenced in and attached to the house on both sides - very safe for small kids and/or pets. Both house and cottage can be rented together as a compound and sleeps 12 - 13 people.
