This cottage is a favorite with families. It is located on the Island's most popular surf beach at Surfside. A boardwalk off our large south facing deck brings you to our beach adjacent to the public beach and lifeguards. The cottage has a warm and inviting atmosphere with lots of light streaming in from the sun porch. This south facing porch has picture windows facing the ocean and dunes. There is nothing between you and the view! The bedrooms are cozy. One bedroom has a queen sized bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The third has a set of bunk beds. The kitchen is fully equipped. The furnishings are casual and comfortable.

    Waterfront Cottage has been our family's vacation home since 1960. It was purchased by our mother whose family vacationed next door at what is now ''The Way it Was'' cottage. Surfside has always been our home away from home. We have always carved out time for ourselves and found families who rent from us the remaining time. Our tenant return rate is about 90%. We now have the children and grandchildren of our original tenants renting from us!

    What is special about this property?
    Location, location, location! Waterfront Cottage is steps from the beach. Our boardwalk across the beach grass leads you to Surfside Beach. There is a large deck on the ocean side with table and chairs for outdoor dining and lounging. Never pack up your car again to go to the beach!!
