First Light Provincetown
Happening December 30, 2021–January 2, 2022
First Light Provincetown is the final big festival of the holiday season. It’s a four-day-long event featuring holiday parties, events, and performances. The biggest event of the celebration is the fireworks celebration from MacMillan Pier. The best views for the fireworks are on the beach by the pier, if it’s not too cold. You can watch the fireworks from nearby bars, clubs and restaurant that have decks and indoor seating. The First Light Provincetown also holds the
Lite Bright Bike Ride on New Year’s Eve and the annual
Polar Bear Plunge on New Year’s Day.
First Night Chatham
Come enjoy First Night Chatham! Is a family-friendly, alcohol free, town-wide celebration of the arts with, in a normal year, over 70 performances and events.
This year’s celebration will be all outdoors. Check out the website for a preliminary list of this year’s all-outdoors activities. More will be added as activities and locations firm up.
Most of our traditional outdoor activities return, plus some outdoor extras to make this year’s First Night Chatham feel like a Main Street festival. Kick off First Night Chatham with the Town Photo, and this year's culmination will feature the return of the Early Fireworks at Veterans Field.
If you’re looking to spend a special night out that includes dining, here are a few options:
The Starry Night NYE Party at Pate’s! – 1260 Main Street, Chatham. Come celebrate and ring in 2022 in Style! Dress to impress and enjoy a DJ with dancing, passed and stationed hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and more. $125 per person; reservations required; 21+ only
Villaggio Ristorante – 4631 Falmouth Road, Cotuit. John Salerno on the Piano at 6pm. Reservations required.
Ocean Edge – 2907 Main Street, Brewster. Prepare to ring in the new year in frosty fashion. Grab your friends and family and head to either Bayzo's Pub or The Frost Bar for dinner and a champagne toast. Live music will be available at Bayzo's Pub from 10:00PM - 12:00AM. They will also be serving New Year's Day Brunch from 10:00AM - 3:00PM.
Water Street Kitchen – 56 Water Street, Woods Hole. 6:30pm - 10pm. Ring in the New Year with a decadent 4-course menu while looking out over the water from their cozy, twinkling dining room.
