This lovely family home has a prime location on a small sheltered private harbor. A private beach on Nantucket Sound is directly across from the house. The location is Harthaven, a small community between Oak Bluffs and Edgartown. The 1915 shingle style house has a dock, enclosed sun porches upstairs and downstairs, deck, fireplace, lawn and garden at the water's edge, shuffleboard court, and the lingering charm of many summers. The rooms are bathed in shimmering light and the soothing sound of water. Boating is easy. Swimming is gentle. Fishing is abundant. Association tennis, bike path, and golf are nearby. And everything that makes a Vineyard summer is possible.
